I can't tell you any flaw about the tesla, but I don't like mine. It's too flashy. Big and bulky and flashy. It catch too much attention in public. Some people burst out and laugh. Some smile and giggle. Some looked, turned around, and turned back and look. Many people have asked me questions about it. There was an incident that 2 ladies stopped walking, first one pointed at it and said "nice". Second one jumped like a kid and keep repeating "that is it. that is it. I like it" and asked me "what's that". Now, I like to take my vamo out. No attention at all. and I like the ss finish.

Maybe its just the area your in, in my state and town, people say they like the looks of my Black Tesla over the SS Vamo i have. People ask about it, feel the weight of both PV's and they say the Tesla feels solid but so light and comfortable in their hand, and not slippery like the SS Vamo. They even say its stealthy looking, with the OLED screen and the way everything is positioned.. IDK but i take mine everywhere, it has become my go to device, and now the Vamo is a backup, not to mention, i really don't care what others think, when I'm vaping on it and they're choking on their cancer sticks.. I personally laugh at them.. But to each their own i guess... :2c:

People ask you about your Tesla and two women like it? And you don't like it because of that? Ok, sell it to someone that likes the attention. I'm sure a lot of APV users would love the chance to talk to potential ecig users about their mod. Glad you like your Vamo. :)

Jus got home a lil bit ago with a new Tesla! Upgraded from my Lava Tube. So far so good! Now officially part of the VV/VW world! Coulda save a few bucks ordering a SVD from Fasttech, but didnt wanna wait a couple-three weeks. Liking the looks of it a feels solid in my hand, and with the grooved tube, easy to hold onto.

I quite like my Tesla. I am using the gun metal with VapeOnly BCCs (with black end caps). The unit is well built, the menu system is simple but covers all I need it to do - as mentioned above I like the ease in battery and ohm checking, the threading is smooth, and I do really like the spring loaded pin (not a fan of pulling pins). I do like the unique look to it as well.

The thing I like the most though is the way it feels in hand. The flattened sides fit well... it is just comfortable to hold and use.

Initially, having the buttons above the display was a bit of an annoyance but, after using it, I am used to it. I also think that the control buttons were placed above the display to make it easier to avoid them while vaping. I did notice that while holding the unit and pressing the activation button, my thumb was where the buttons would be if they were below the display (if that makes any sense). So, definitely less than ideal (until you get used to it) but, it seems to me to be a design decision to improve usage.

Did not like the BCC, after about 2 weeks it died, my friend at work's did the same thing....

I just bought a tesla kit today! The one bare metal finish which I'm guessing might be the satin I've heard about. I actually was going to get a vamo but for what it came with the tesla was a better deal at the b&m.

First thing I did was load up the carto and screw it on. But when I went to tighten I realized that nothing is holding the carto in the supplied tank. Needless to say when trying to take it back off I spilled juice over the tesla before even vaping. The supplied tank is awful. But thankfully I had my protank on my ego and damn. Great vape! Put on a simple 510 atty and had some great drips with it as well.

Note to other new users: putting paper towel aroun your finger in the hole of the carto will allow you to unscrew the tank.

The mod feels very very solid and ergonomic ally the grip is great and weight feels comfortable. I love the triangulat shape to it. Seeing the supplied blue battery isn't the most aesthetic but things could be done to help that. I also love that I can see my battery voltage when I press the firing button. And that button has a nice feel with a tactile break point. The brushed metal look is great.

The cons so far. Awful supplied tank in the kit. Sometimes the five clicks to turn on hasn't worked and takes several attempts. Doesn't have the connections for my protank beauty ring to adjust airflow.

This I what I will say about the buttons above the screen. If I was trying to speed through the menu it would be a problem. But I am not. Plus if they were below the screen I feel I would be more likely to accidentally hit them while vaping.

$84.99 +tax for the tesla two 18650s a charger and a cartotank I am very happy and plan to use this mod for hopefully years to come.

Oh my gosh, I would so get one and join you! Phil had a really, really bad day when his Tesla arrived for testing. Hated on it pretty bad. I've had my black Tesla a few days now and love it. I also have a P**vari (don't taunt me, please) but needed something not as pricy as a back up.

Two very small gripes about my tesla. When I change batteries I have to switch the LCD display so show battery again. And looking through the window I can see the circuit boards. Besides that I really love my tesla so far.

Thats strange, i do not have that problem at all, the only thing it does when changing the battery, is if your in VV mode, it will reset back to 3V. But if in VW mode it retains the settings... Other than that which isn't a problem or even a gripe for me, i do see what your saying about seeing the chipset, but thats very minor... Stop looking so close... haha just kindling, its a great mod, and its now my go to every day mod, even for dripping on my bridgeless 1.8ohm Atty's with drip shields.... Glad your liking it.... Vape on my friend....
