Well it took a while to find time but I finally got around to drilling air bleed holes through the deck of the L+ just like my top performing Aspire Quad Flex RDTAs.
The two holes are .020" dia and have a small counter sink (dimple) on the top side of the deck.
No more high vacuum problems. The juice flows freely now to the wicks without having to worry about dry hits from over stuffing the juice channels with wick tail. No more having to pull the top cap off to release tank vacuum (burping). No leaking when lying on it's side.
Chain vaping at 100w with .27 ohm, 7 wrap, 3mm, 28/36 fused claptons is a joy now, just as it is with the Quad Flex at 80w. No wait time required between pulls; just like a dripper.
Flavor is better too because the wicks aren't starving for juice after a few consecutive 3 sec pulls.
Air bleed holes are the future and the future is now.
Pics to follow. Right now I'm enjoying vaping it.
