Liquid not steeping?

Hi all, not a diy question but more of a general query. Does anyone know, are there any circumstances that a liquid would not steep? I mean, once mixed, if I never shook it, left the cap on and just let it sit in a cool dark place for 6 months and never touched it, would that prevent the flavors from blending together properly?

I'm asking because I bought this juice from a vendor and 8 months later, it still doesn't taste like anything. Wondering if its my fault for not shaking it more often (or at all lol).

Not in my experience should that be a problem. Pre-made juices should come to maturity within a week at the very most. Most should be ready to vape unless made on the spot at a B&M. It could be a juice just not suited to your tastes. I had a not so nice chat with a shop owner that sold me a bottle of Mother's milk (off brand) that I said tasted like something that came out of a cat. She said it was a popular selling juice. I asked how many people came back for it and she looked away. lol

Steeping is basically just aging so no, it isn't your fault.

If the bottle is filled nearly to the top in amber bottles it may need some time with the cap off to get the flavor going. Bottles that are dark and nearly full don't have air or light to kick off the steeping\oxidation process.

It ain't gonna happen. Aging juice is not magic.

Could have already been fully steeped and just a crappy mix. It don't sound like anything you did wrong.
