So I recently bought some "tonic" from puresmoker.com and I realized that the juice is super harsh upon smoking it out of my carto. The viscosity of the juice is that of water and its different from the one I bought from a local dealer here where its more like oil (thicker consistency) The one with the thicker consistency seems to be working just fine but the water-like juice burns super harsh to the point where I cough every time I draw it from my prodigy v3. I'm using boge cartos for reference. Just wondering if theres a difference between the two since the thicker consistency one has "e-liquid" on it opposed to "Tonic" from the puresmoker juice. Thanks!

mooreted pretty much summed it up.

Thicker = More VG
Thinner = More PG

Supposing both have the same nic amounts, PG eLiquid will have a much stronger Throat Hit (harshness) to it.

You can try dropping the nic level down or adding a bit of VG yourself if you prefer a thicker eliquid.

Our TONIC eLiquid is roughly an 80% PG/20% VG ratio :)

Cool, I might just go ahead and do that. The higher PG ratio in the tonic you guy sent me made me cough like I just took a .... rip hahaha Thanks for the info Cashmere!

More PG is the harsher of the 2 and can be irritating to some people. Puresmoker's tonics are very good but in lighter vaping sessions. I really enjoy their Silver Leaf tobacco.

The one you have from your local store is more than likely, a mix of pg/vg. The vg is most juices "softens" the TH and produces more vapor.

You may wanna re-word that before a mod catches it. As you are a supplier that could look like advertising. I got in trouble just for asking what good suppliers there were for possible future reference, so they are kinda harsh on the issue. I still don't have full member privileges back after they downgraded the Ban to and Infraction ( and I had to fight to get that too) .Just a friendly heads up, I'd hate to see anyone get in trouble for an innocent comment.

So what would be the difference between a PG/VG blend and a VG based juice? That's what vapure's website has currently and I ordered the VG based.
