Thinner Juices From US Manufacturers?

Now I've been vaping for a couple of years now and have been using pg and vg juices from China, via local U.S. suppliers.

Now a couple of months ago, I got some of the US made juice (Tonic) from Puresmoker and more recently (yesterday) received some US made juice from Vaporbomb.

The 2 US juices appear to be lighter in viscosity, seem to burn faster and hence I use more. I'm not a chemist, I don't even play one on TV, but if the ingredients are pg/vg+nic+water+flavor, then maybe too much water, which would be the lowest cost ingredient.

Now I know that this is a limited amount data to come to a conclusion about US juices, but has anyone else noticed this?

BTW, I do feel that the 2 US juices are superior as far as cleaner, crisper flavor, but I'm not sure I am willing to double my costs. For me, it's mainly about my nic fix and cost of getting it.

The stuff I got more recently is 80%vg/20%pg, so I'm not sure that would be the case. The stuff from Puresmoker, I have no idea what the mix is?

Perhaps they would tell you.....

I would think that it is the PG/VG ratio that is making the difference. The higher the PG ratio, the thinner the juice. It is the VG that thickens the juice, so a higher ratio of VG would mean a thicker juice.

I wish I had some straight PG around to test that theory, maybe on my next purchase.

I just don't see that an 80vg/20pg could make that much of a difference, but as I mentioned before, I'm not a Chemist.

80vg/20pg is a pretty thick mix...most order the other way around, would surely explain viscosity.
