I'm mixing mints and menthols and have been using 100 proof vodka to thin my VG instead of water.

Would a peppermint schnapps like Rumple Minze 100 Proof instead of the vodka add to the minty kick or would the sugar content just foul up my coils?

The excess sugar and other additives will most likely burn your coils shortening your cartos life.
