little disappointed in mega ego parts

as the header say, i was expecting little bit more from the ego mega atty and cart.(i might get the riva from L/B as well, for back up) it makes a gurgling sound and the vape is not as good as what comes with stock. i find myself sucking til im almost light headed and while i still take this over an analog,i cant see using the mega stuff for long. i havent tried cartomizers for it, many of you are suggesting boge 510 lr (2.0) cartos...does anyone know who has them in stock, and would you recommend cartos over carts? no...im not going to try drip since i drive alot while smoking. i am still intrigued by the go-go and maybe even the leo, altho ive read some negative reviews on it as of late. any input is appriciated.

You could try the LR mega ego atty, but not if your going to avoid dripping

and many other places, I really like them they will produce a warmer thicker vapor and a better experience than the standard mega atty. just make sure you don't vape them completely dry.

You are probably flooding it, too much gurgling and it will never vape right.

I prefer the eGo Mega (cylinder) over any carto I've tried.

I too was extremely disappointed in the Mega attys and carts. The gurgling and flooding was a constant problem and I gave up after trying 2 and finding they both had the same problem. I tried modding it with fluval and blue foam and they never did work even remotely good and the burnt taste was was disgusting.

I moved up to the eGo-T and then to a MAP tank, which I absolutely love.

I love my ego mega atty and cart. I finally figured out how to keep it from flooding. I use the filler that comes in the cart and I fill it with about 45 drops then I cut a peice of BF just larger than the cart round the edges slightly and push it in then top off with 15 more drops. I have not had a flooding or dry issue yet. It is now my favorite atty. I also like the mega cartos too but they seem too much of a hassle and have a short life because the filler gets packed down.

I really like my mega attys too. Some of the cartridges come out of the factory without enough filler in them and they will flood the atty every time. I've added blue foam and I've done the blue foam with coffee straw mod and they are perfect. They still gurgle just a little bit, but no more flooding.

That said: If you're looking for exceptional cartos, try the dual coil cartos from madvapes.

I also really like my 306 cartos, I use em on everything. I put them on my Blu, 510 auto and manual, 510 mega, ego, ego PT, 306 (of course), 401. But I can vape one dry in 30-60 min.

I have been a big Mega Atty Fan for some time now and swear by them as I travel and don't have to worry about refilling often. I also had an issue with the gurgle and flooding early. Once I started adding a little VG into my juices and thickened them up a little this helped. Plus I like the large Cigar type look it has.... Mega Cartamizer are a little airy for me, but also great for travel. I'm still looking for the perfect vape, but I am hooked to the Mega Attys for now.

I would suggest adding a little VG or trying a ejuice with a VG mix and see if that helps.

I agree with everyone that the gurgling sounds like a flooded atty.

thank you so much for all the info, this will help me move forward. i think i will do the boge 510 low res cartos...and if that doesnt work i have to go with a different pv.
