Little Dripper

Hi all, I was thinking last night I wanted a small pipe to stealth. Had a small dripping atty I hardly ever used. Recycled ego 510 connector, 3/4" copper pipe, 3/4" caps, 1/2" caps, speaker wire and piece of scrap brass. My soldering leaves much to be desired. This is what I came up with. Let me know what you think. Keith

Came out very well, and the soldering doesn't detract one bit. It accentuates the switching between SS and copper/brass, and it gives that backwoods still look. Is the 1/2" cap soldered in place too or covering the solder?

Yes it's soldered. The soldering was the hardest or most frustrating part of the whole process. Thanks for the nice words.

It does look really nice !

I like the mixed metal look, but if it bothers you, you can go to a stained glass shop and buy a bottle of "Copper Patina".
(It's a copper sulfate solution)


...or a nice shop owner might just patina it for you

Thanks for the nice comments. Used it all Weekend and it is starting to get a nice patina. The two tone isn't that bad, kinda grew on me. I have figured out a way to flange the small tube to keep most of the solder on the inside.
