Hi All,

I was wondering, being new to vaping why I only get a decent effect from the first of the day (substantial effect, pleasant) finding subsequent vapes have much much less effect (to the point of getting no effect). At the same time ive noticed I need to leave it around 2 hours to get any effect at all.

Friends are using the same single use/disposable units and report significant effects over and over.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

That reminds me of the first cigarette of the day. It was always the best.

With smoking you get a quick blast of nicotine, it goes up quickly and then fades quickly until you need to smoke another one. With vaping you get a slow increase of nicotine in your system followed by a slow decline, so you have to top it up from time to time.

The effect you talked about is presumably your body sensing the nicotine appearing. I wouldn't expect to get that with every vape, unless like you say you wait a while until the nic level goes down a bit.

I really can't account for your friend's experiences. Everyone is different.

At first, being really pleasantly slightly whacked.....after the first hit im getting a shortness of breath for a short period, with little if any high. Ive used several types of disposable vape.
Nicotine technically doesn't get you "high". We don't vape Nicotine to get "high". We vape Nicotine as an alternative to smoking tobacco. Many of us have here were long term smokers and used vaping to get off cigarettes. How long did you smoke before you decided to try vaping? I suspect not at all, just because you are looking for a "high". So basically, you are unnecessarily getting yourself addicted to nicotine. You wanna get "high", go smoke a good bud. It's practically legal now. If you have smoked tobacco half your life and want to quit, then vape is the way to go and there's plenty of people here ready to help you with that journey. But, again, I suspect this is not the case.

What Coyote said.

Agree wholeheartedly with Coyote when he says the reason why we vape,we are not looking for a high we are just trying our best to keep our head above water and not go back to smoking cigarettes.

Just speaking for me i see it as a means to an end, some vapers have got into it like anyone would get into a hobby but me personally not so much.
Yes i do enjoy writing reviews and testing new devices but i don't look it at as a hobby more like like a good tool that helps me in my general well being.

Just vaping to get ''high''? well that is your prerogative, personally i wouldn't recommend it but to each its own.
