Depends, Gerry, on how hard you're going to push it. I never vape over about 10.5 - 11 watts, so any 20 amp battery works for me. If you're going to go full bore, any that have a 30 amp continuous would be fine.

Flat top only, the compartment is tight.

Interesting that they give you the voltage range, but not the wattage range. As a tootle puffer, I like to know how low they will go.

BTW - Do you mean the .5 Ohm OCC Coil Head?

.05 Ohms is super, Super, SUPER Low Ohms. And most would Not Consider it a Safe Build.

Most any on "the list" that take an 18650 should be fine. I use those (and other toppers as well) on both my Cloupor Mini and Ola 30. Do check your particular battery for discharge rate.

Well...I was only listing what the fella' in the Pegasus Vapor Academy video listed as the "best" Type D battery ("25A, 2000mAh for regulated mods running 60W-120W").

But...don't want to blow myself up.

I don't know of a Good 25A Battery. Do you Need 25 Amps?

I use Samsung INR18650-25R. But those are 20A. They are also 2500mAh.

Try the Sony VTC4s. Technically can only have a 20C rating but can be used at 25 and 30A.

Sony has stated publicly that they are not manufacturing these batteries - or any batteries like this - for sale on the open market. As such, any Sony batteries can be classified as a rewrap, forgery, or a pull (taken from a different, non-vaping device such as a computer battery pack) with no verifiable use history.

In reality, there are very few companies set up to manufacture these batteries. It is best to buy from large, we'll known battery producers such as LG and Samsung.
