OK... I got Home. And sure enough, there was a Priority Mail Box sitting in my Entryway. Inside it I found a Wismec Presa!

(Funny. I seem to feel Fine now that I'm not Working - LOL)

Wow... This thing is Cool!

The First you notice is the Feel. It Feels Very Solid. Not Overly Heavy. But a Dense, Solid Feel. Finish is Smooth as Silk. Build Quality is Outstanding. No Rattle. No Mis-Matched Edges. Up/Down Buttons are Crisp. Top Notch all the way Around.

The Next thing is the Fire Button. If you can Even call it a Button? It doesn't really Matter where you Push it as long as it is on the Top 3/4 of it. So if you are a Thumb Pusher like me or a Finger Presser, doesn't Really Matter. Or you can just Clinch your Fist. It's Crazy Cool.

The 510 Threads are Precise and Perpendicular. I so No Problems here.

The OLED is Very Clear. And the Number are Slightly Larger than on Most mods I have Used. Easy to Read. Menu Navigation is Simple and Straight Forward. The Up/Down acceleration kicks in Very Fast, which I like.

The On/Off Switch is also a Very Nice and Functional addition. Sometimes it is Hard in Bright Light to know if your mod is On or Off. So you Stand at the Entryway of a Store, Looking like a Dork, Clicking on your mod with another Hand shading the Screen. And Randomly taking Test Hits to see if it is Really Off. With this Switch, you just turn it Off and drop it into you Pocket or Bag or Purse. A Very Nice Feature.

The Hit is Great. It Looks Great. And the Feel is Outstanding.

On the zoiDic scale of 1 ~ 100 for Overall Satisfaction, I would give this Wismec Presa a Solid 92. And would Recommend it to just about anyone.

I want to give a BIG Thank You to VapingTurtle. You are Outstanding. And I appreciate you Thinking of Me.

:D
My Presa also arrived today. I concur with all your observations, and I like it very much so far. The button/bar will take a little getting used to and is a bit stiffer than the i sticks. Next thing is to see how long the battery lasts. 26$ on a vaperev one day sale. Thanks, ECF!

The 'Burgh, PA.
the Kbox mini wins the 'hand feel' category for me. The kbox mini is also lighter than the others. No TC though

Since I've not yet seen convincing evidence that nickle [which is a carcinogen] does not leech into the ejuice...TC, for me, is not really important right now.

But...after all the hassles with the VV V3, MVP 2, etc. fixed pins...I've kinda' lost patience waiting for the KBOX Mini to come out with a spring-loaded 510 pin version.

I'm running three types of batts in mine - Samsung 25r, LG HE2 and LG HG2 (3000mAh thanks baditude :- )

That GREAT Vapor Academy video that Kat posted suggested...for a 40W-60W Mod...(at least) a 20A (constant current) battery. Their recommendation was the LG HE4...which is 20A, 2500mAh.

The LG HG2 (that I was not aware of) does indeed appear to be 20A, 3000mAh.

Nice Find!!!

DPL...can I ask where you bought them?

I'm seeing $5.50 each (when you buy 2)...and UP...

LG HG2

That's an excellent deal. I paid more for mine as I bought them from VapinArt, to go with a mod I was getting at the same time. I'm seriously considering a few more though, so thanks for that link!

Many are... but it hasn't been a problem for me so far. It is a great 'sealed' 510 and a bit springy (as mentioned early on) but not spring loaded. Kanger had their doubts on spring loaded at the time of design - there were some problems with some mods with that 'feature', but the mods I have, that have it - no problems - vt, vtc, defenders.... Supposedly, the next 'batch' will be spring loaded (according to Phil (via Kanger) but it's been a long time coming.

My subtank nano is now leaking like the mini did, so I was waiting for the 'kbox mini only' and again, that may be a long time coming. In fact, I may make my first purchase from fasttech since they have them without the subtank at a decent price. I did have one on pre-order at HG but it never arrived, and word is, is that the kits will be available only... when they come in.

...

There are some Scientific Mysteries that may never be Explained in my Lifetime.

How Gravity fits into a Grand Unification Theory? Why all Frozen Peas are the Same Size? Why the Handrail on the Escalator always moves a Little Faster than the thing you are Standing On?

But Whether or Not Nickel is Leaching into e-liquids just Doesn't seem like one of them.

How hard would it be for Cambridge or MIT or the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to stick a piece of Ni-200 in e-Liquids (of varying Nicotine and ph Levels) and then do a Chemical Analysis of the e-Liquids for the Presence of Nickel? If they Really wanted to get Fancy, they could even Heat the Wire.

It Blows my Mind that in some ways, we have come So Far in the Last 5 Years. But in Others, it seem like we are Stuck on Square One.
