Change o' plans. I have nothing on which to weigh in til the pearly brick ARRIBA ARRIBA!!

Heavy due to the flask of tequila on board, me hopes?

In light of our recent shipping challenges from The Holy Land, I'm revising the plan. Ola Kitty will ship your way this weekend, along with the other stuffs that have been sitting here with your name on them.

When Moses does call, that shipment will arrive separately and on its own.

Weigh-in, you will (doing my best Yoda impression).

And NO mas tequila, Samantha Hagar.

75W or higher, we recommend the Sony VTC4 2100 mah 30 amp CDR

Wonder why Baditude doesn't suggest the Sony VTC5...

same 30A...but 2600mAh...

I was waiting for the 'kbox mini only' and again, that may be a long time coming. In fact, I may make my first purchase from fasttech since they have them without the subtank at a decent price.

And...currently...it looks like FT has the best price...

KBOX Mini

How hard would it be for Cambridge or MIT or the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory to stick a piece of Ni-200 in e-liquids (of varying Nicotine and ph Levels) and then do a Chemical Analysis of the e-liquids for the Presence of Nickel? If they Really wanted to get Fancy, they could even Heat the Wire.

I agree with you zioD...how hard would it be???

But I've, yet, to see any such testing...

[What has me freaked about nickle is this fella'...]

Whereas I agree that One should be giving thought to Anything they use in e-Cigarette/e-liquid. This guy in that Video does just what he Accuses Evolv of doing. Makes a Claim Without anything to Back it Up.

If this Dude believes that Nickel is a Possible Problem, why hasn't He or His Company done what I suggested? Put a piece of NI-200 in a Bottle of e-Liquid and then sent it to a Lab to see if Nickel has Leached into the e-Liquid.

The Same Lab he uses to Test his e-Liquids for Diketones in the e-Liquids he Sells.

So you have seen convincing evidence that nickel is a carcinogen? Link please.

http://www3.epa.gov/airtoxics/hlthef/nickel.html indicates a different viewpoint.

Not that I could really trust the EPA on anything, Woof, but your link does state...

Respiratory effects have also been reported in humans from inhalation exposure to nickel. Human and animal studies have reported an increased risk of lung and nasal cancers from exposure to nickel refinery dusts and nickel subsulfide.

Acute animal tests in rats have shown nickel compounds to exhibit acute toxicity values ranging from low to high. The soluble compounds, such as nickel acetate, were the most toxic, and the insoluble forms, such as nickel powder, were the least toxic.

Chronic inhalation exposure to nickel in humans also results in respiratory effects, including a type of asthma specific to nickel, decreased lung function, and bronchitis.

Animal studies have also reported lung tumors from inhalation exposure to nickel refinery dusts and to nickel subsulfide. EPA has classified nickel refinery dust and nickel subsulfide as Group A, human carcinogens.

Nickel carbonyl has been reported to produce lung tumors in rats exposed via inhalation. EPA has classified nickel carbonyl as a Group B2, probable human carcinogen.

I've also read that nickel is one of the most allergenic metals, to humans. It's often used in alloys of 10K gold, and everytime I've ever tried to wear 10K gold (my high school ring is a good example), it turns the skin it touches completely black. 14k gold doesn't do that to me.

There is a 'nickel allergy'. A few here have experienced it. If someone doesn't know they have one and continue to use nickel coils, they could experience more severe reactions of course. I have a hazelnut allergy. It's a slight to medium anaphylactic reaction - can't swallow, lips swell to Angelina Jolie size :- ) Benedryl eliminates it.

So...if I'm looking for a 20A CDR battery...does that mean I'd be better off with a 3000mAh LG HG2 than a 2600mAh VTC5???

"Better off" how? The point of my post was to indicate as Vapor Turtle did that the VTC5 is not a 30amp batt. If 20a is all you need, then either would be fine except more mAh with the HG2. And I might add, that without counting puffs or timing - just in regular vaping experience - the HG2 does last a bit longer than either the Samsung 25r or the HE2's.
