Well, I grow the plum tomatoes, process them, and use those to make my sauce, and my paste. No tinned tomato products for me! I also grow the herbs and the garlic. But I'm not Italian, so I guess that's why I don't call it gravy. Is Italian by osmosis a thing? Because I think that's what happened!
Although "You" called it sauce - instead of the proper "GRAVY" . . . IMHO - Given especially the preparation and using all FRESH items - "YOU ARE" . . .
