Can't speak to the Mini, but with the Deeming to hit next May, sticking to replaceable battery mods might be the better strategy?

I'm in Canada. So, not a concern. I have plenty of 18650 mods, so not an issue if it does go bad up here....which is unlikely.

Primo Mini replacement?

Hey gang! Hope everyone in the States had a great Thanksgiving.

Worked the Macy's parade and had my backpack stolen. Unfortunately, my Primo Mini was in it =( I got the Primo Mini about 16 months ago to replace a dead eVic VTC Mini. Apparently, the Primo Mini (and VTC Mini) is discontinued. Any suggestions for a similar replacement; single 18650, TC and stainless would be amazing! I'm still only vaping between 10 and 20w. Stuck now on my old DNA 30 and iStick Mini 30W (with dying battery).

Your wisdom is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My pleasure! It's not often I get to bring actual value to this place (clowning around doesn't seem to count, nor should it). :w00t:

If you don't mind waiting 3-4 weeks, it's tough to beat the price. We're very satisfied with the ones we got from there.

I hope this helps!

OBS Cube X 80W Mod - 18650

Clowning around is ALL that counts! I'd go insane (well, more insane) if I took all this stuff too seriously!

No problems with VAPORL? $23 for the stainless version (including a sub-ohm tank that will sit on my shelf) may be too much for me to pass up. =) If you AND @Katdarling both like it, how can I go wrong. The Primo Mini was a champ!

Your wisdom is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there, stranger! ;)

My wisdom? The two mods that are very popular nowadays are the Asmodus Colossal (don't let the name fool you--it's tiny), Asmodus Tribaut, and GeekVape Aegis Solo. Look for sales as prices are literally changing daily. Great mods!

If you're looking for an out-and-about mod, go for the Solo. It's much lighter than the Colossal and the Tribeaut and is shock- and waterproof to boot.

That said, I love the Colossal and the Tribeaut, too.

If you're looking for an out-and-about mod, go for the Solo.

There was all this brouhaha on the "Stocking Up" thread...along with a GREAT Sale...about the Aegis Solo...so decided to try one to see how it compared to my current favorite Mod...the Sinuous P80...

The Solo is bigger...and heavier...than the P80...

The Solo has GOOD hand comfort...but the P80 has EXCELLENT hand comfort...

You have to look at the Solo before picking it up (to check where the Fire Button is)...but you can pick up the P80 without looking at it because you just squeeze the Fire Panel and it fires (quite handy when driving or when intently concentrating on your laptop screen)...

Plus...although minor...it's MUCH easier/quicker to change the 18650 in the P80 than in the Solo...

Nice to see you, Alden, and I know @Katdarling will feel VERY much the same when she gets some minutes to visit. I'm VERY sorry to see it's under these circumstances though.

What is WRONG with people!!!!:(

Agreed. People can be such jerks. But at least the timing was OK. Between Black Friday/Cyber-Monday deals I should be able to score a few goodies. I'm well under my vape budget for the year! ;)

Question 'cause I'm too lazy to do more research than I already have...

Pulling the trigger on a replacement Pico 75W (the original). However, during the process the Target Mini II caught my eye. For those who own and use it, how's it been holding up? Battery life? Not usually a fan of lipos as I love the convenience of having multiple charged and ready to go 18650s on hand. But....

    Thanks. ;)

I've got the original Target Mini and it makes a Pico look HUGE ;)

However, the Mini 2 has a bigger battery, and more importantly an updated chip - win win :thumb:

The primo is going to be hard to beat, I ended up with an aegis when I had to replace mine. It is nice, tough, works well, but it's not the Primo. Has already lasted longer though....

Here's another, just to konfuse your vape mind a little more. This one came to us as a sort of surprise, but I must say, it's a kontender. It's a bit bigger than the BME (Primo Mini) but has some sweet features and vapes like a dream.

I would NOT discount the Cubey tho. We've now got a few of them and they are delish, too.

The Vaporesso Armour Pro! (Please excuse all the "it's been well-loved" markings on the baby red one. It really HAS been well-loved!)

You'll have to price shop it (perhaps @DPLongo22 can help with that part), but it's worth a looksie.

SO glad to see you around here! You made my day!!!! :D

I hear ya. I'm thinking I may have to deal with the same eventuality. It was far from my most expensive mod, but it was by far my favorite. If I could find the Primo for the same $20 I paid for the Colossal, I'd buy three.
