Right. I like new toys... And new technology, so I"ve been thoroughly enjoying trying all those new, fun, inexpensive box mods. The ones I have are all very good, knock on wood, but I realize that any of them may just refuse to cooperate at any given time. I factor this in.

I got my ProVari mini (V2.5) years ago, but it has aged. The interface is ridiculous, and the battery life in both regular and mini configurations is pathetic. I really don't use it much anymore. I prefer box mods. If/when the Vapocalypse happens, God forbid, I'll probably just get the Radius, but even the Radius is only as good as its circuit board... If that fails, and ProVape is no longer in business, the Radius is just as bad a choice as any $30 Chinese mod...

Only a true mech is FDA-proof, but I, just like you, don't even want to contemplate that option.

well, this one

will let you bypass the chip and go mechanical if absolute necessary! cost-wise and size-wize it should qualify for itty-bitty! voltage output down to 1!

well, this one ... will let you bypass the chip and go mechanical if absolute necessary!
I don't know about this one in particular, but in general, the 'bypass mode' is not the same as mechanical. 'Bypass mode' may bypass the voltage regulator, but it is still using the board for the switch and protection circuits. If the board goes south on ya, the mod is still dead. :(

We did win!!! At least they don't have to go into Spring as losers.
Just means they get a lower draft slot, just like my Iggles win today in the one game they should have played to lose. :( :(

In conclusion, this post is just :nah:
:(:(:(

I've got a lot of newer tech, buy I keep adding older stuff on the side. Picked up a Coolfire 1 and an SVD 1 to provide a little regulation to my swarm of tube mechs. Need to find a kick 2 somewhere... yeah, that's the ticket...

Opphhhttt- I thinks ya got ENOUGH regulated AND mech mods, Shawn. LMAO! if you are honestly STILL trying to find categories to fill, you may have a problem... lol. I classify you as a category collector, or, category-mod-collector, if you will... That-is, you feel, that you simply MUST have at-least ONE of each mod-style and/or mod-type. Such as: "I must have at-least one bottom-feeder. I must have at-least ONE mod w/ the tank recessed & integrated into the mod. I MUST have at-least one stealthy regulated mod. I must have at-least one unregulated mechanical stealth-mod. I must have at-least one brass mechanical mod. I must have at-least one copper mech mod. I must have at-least one Reo. I must-have at-least ONE Provari, ONE Reo, ONE Silverbullet, ONE Buzzpro, ONE Joker/Diamante. (the oldies/but-goodies, lol) I must have at-least ONE of those novelty DNA mods, in the SNES controller, or, in a AK47-Clip-Housing." LOL...

If the above sounds-like, or in any way, describes, ur train of thought, on a reg-basis... Youuu MIGHT-be a category-collector.

Careful now, Shawn, you don't want to wind-up holding yourself in a bathtub, with your Reo still sticking out of your arm, screaming "This wasn't supposed to be ME..... THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE MEEEEE!!!!" lol. ;)

I am a collector, and I have tried to limit myself to one of each device/atomizer, but I have limits! Not so interested in a Provari, for instance, or a REO (although I do have three squonkers). Nah... as a reviewer, and a self-funded reviewer at that, I like to pick and choose...

Oh, the ONE part of my post that involved collecting different BRANDS of mods, and you just had to pick it apart and say "OH NO.... I may collect mods, but I DO NOT neeeed a Provari, or a REO!" lol. Good for you, Shawn... Stick to your guns! :p Keep telling yourself that because you resist the Provari/REO, you are OK. lol. (I am just kidding, of course, & your reviews are very beneficial to the community) lol.... Keep doing what ya do, Shawn... Hey and listen, bro, forreal... If you ever (or have-ever) purchased any mods you disliked, hey, hit me up in a private message, and I'll most-likely very graciously take it/them off of your hands, bro. I need a vapocalypes kit as much as the next guy, even though I dont work/& have no dough.... lol. if it's going in the trash anyway, I'd be happy to take it. ESPECIALLY interested in squonk-boxes, but NOT picky.... lol. KEEP COLLECTING, bro. Keep it up. & keep the great reviews coming!!

I think a lot of people collect what they enjoy. I like side by sides and so I want several before they are banned or raised in price such that I can't afford them. Same with mechs and regulated mods that I enjoy. I also want at least one or two dependable squonkers. They all vape different and I use them all daily. I have a much harder time narrowing down tanks and I dread RTA's. I don't have a single adv either. Some folks are fine with one main apv, tank and adv. I'm not one of them.

The reality is that prices will be going up and innovation may be slowed to a crawl during the next year or so. I don't see many signs of compromise. I hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
