Once me and a friend of mine (Italian, raised in Brooklyn, NY) were talking about how certain words and phrases were pronounced according to geography. Toid toid treet (33rd Street) came up, and I told him that joke..

One of my three best friends on the planet is an off-the-boat Italian who moved the The Bronx when he was 9. We met at age 15, and have been connected at the hip ever since. 40 years I've known the man, and never ONCE has he pronounced the "H" in "Three".

    "T'ree."

I realize that this is a mod (not Pod) thread...but...I had been considering getting an Aspire Breeze-2 as an "itty-bitty" set-up for Out & About...

Then, recently, I ran across PBusardo's Review where he found the Breeze-2 uses "direct voltage"...(most Pods are "constant voltage")...so that fully charged it's 16Watt...which decreases to 9Watt before needing recharging...

So...I now have one item less...on my "Future Fun Vaping Gizmos To Try" List...

(According to my handy-dandy Banner...I've got $11,000+ to play around with...)

I've been eyeing up the new pod from innokin - Innokin EQ. It may suit you better Gerry. Has a mesh plexus coil

Thanks Gerry. I didn't realize that, and it removes it from contention for me. I only considered it to use up my ridiculous stash of BVC coils, but no chance now (been there, done that). For some reason I thought they were fixed at 12w, which is higher than I like, but I may have been able to live with it.

I don't know why I'm even looking since every time I hit the Goby, it hits me back (as in "Hits the spot"). One of these days I'll surely stop.

You can probably get a pretty nice mod for $11k. ;)

Interesting suggestion...Ange...I had not run across the Innokin EQ yet...

Innokin recently came out with a "mesh plexus coil" for the Innokin Zenith...but it is getting somewhat mediocre reviews in the Zenith thread...(compared to the 0.8ohm and 1.6ohm Kanthal coils which give a GREAT MTL experience and last forever)…

The linked Review does not mention it...but will definitely check into whether the EQ has Kanthal coils available to use with it...

I like my 30 watt Aspire Rover X with Nautilis X tank.
Makes a bic lighter look big.

    Edit:
    Forgot I had a photo.

    Left is the Rover.
Right is a shirt pocket friendly JoyeTech Penguin.
    End edit.

Now that I've had my Nugget X for a month, I figured I'd follow up, in case anyone is considering it. It's really become much better than "okay for the price." It's pushed the P80 out of rotation, and is getting more vape time now than the Macro. The vape it gives is consistently outstanding for a small, inexpensive mod.
    Cons:
    • Accuracy- it's very consistent, but I have to set it at 7W compared to 8.5W I use on other mods. this is minor, though.
    • Not available in SS. I prefer non-painted mods, but this black isn't bad. Finish seems durable so far.
    • They could've chamfered the corners/edges a little. But then again, it's so small, it might be more difficult to handle if they did.
    • Display is a little dim. Hard to see in daylight - but then, once I set it, I don't really find a need to change it much.
    • Has a tendency to want to confirm new coil often. I haven't found a way to lock resistance, so it's a little annoying that when it gets cool in an ac'd office, it tends to need me to confirm more often than other mods.
    • Big ugly logo on one side.
    Pros:
    • This thing really hits nice! I don't know the "deep" tech specs on ramp up time, but this little mod really delivers a quick, solid hit, even at low wattages. In fact, the last week or so, I've really been preferring this over my DNA.
    • Super small and light- at 58x37x23, and 82 grams, there aren't many smaller, and none close that offer 2000mAh
    • Again, that 2000mAh is awesome for a mod this size. It easily lasts me thru the day, 200+ hits & 2.5-3ml DTL.
    • Charges very quick @ 1.5A
    • Firm, no rattle, easy to feel/find buttons
    • Simple enough menu
    • I don't do TC really, anymore - but tried it out. Comparing it to DNA, it seemed to perform similarly, at least as far as I could feel & taste, using 10-12W limited to 400-430F.
    • Smooth top- no slots to accommodate outdated atties that need them for AF. This makes it much easier to clean condensation.
But really, for me, it all comes down to the vape quality. I'm finding it hard to believe how consistently well this thing hits. I really bought it just to be pocketable, and didn't expect it to become my main mod, but it really has over the last month. And I don't know how, but the coil/wick in the tanks on it seem to outlast those on my other mods. Maybe it really is delivering 7W, but somehow manages to do it in a way to replicate 8.5 on others. I don't know (or care), but I like it. It was a great buy, and I'd highly recommend it. Re-posting the pic of it with Wismec P80 and SBody below for anyone wandering into the thread late.

I didn’t read all 700 plus pages. Looking for a small internal battery mod. I already have a uwel nanchuku, will I be able to use that tank with any other mod?
    Any recommendations.
PLEASE get this into your head, and try to understand. I'm not trying to steer you wrong.
Most attys you see in this thread are MTL and they vape at 14w more or less. Most internal batteries have a maximum of 50w. But you are a DL vaper. Most DL attys are rated at 30w and above. While you might try one of these, it will last you only a couple of puffs.
The Nugget is a great little device, I used to use it when I MTL. Buy it, it's not so expensive. But mind you, you'll soon understand why I steered you towards that.

I bought the nanchuku based on your recommendation I got the device but the batteries are not here so I am lurking around the forum. I know I have said that I am a DL vaper and so I thought but of late I have been trying mtl on my aspire pockex as it is a mtl specially on that 1.2 ohms coil has a right draw.

I have also heard and read that some tanks have adjustable air flow control so it could be used as wither MTL or DTL.

Not fully MTL, because that's a very tight draw. There aren't many MTL subohm tanks, but let me check. Those you see in the picture above are Doggystyle rebuildable tanks. Those that have it swear by it.

Dear, make an effort and get a SXK BB. I have one and works GREAT! Plus, I can plug it and go into escribe for temp control.

I buy DTL tanks and RDAs for mostly MTL vaping. As I find they give better flavor and vapor. I do use them for DTL sometimes too. So the same devices are used for both. I also use TC 99% of the time and there you don't have a choice but to subohm.
