Yes but it's rare with the Evolv chips, so I live with it. We've had some others though (clones & such) that were brutal. They didn't last very long with us.

I'm not one to futz around with my mods. They either work as I want them to, or I get rid of them. If I have to play around with software, NOT interested. I do that karp ALL DAY LONG, and do NOT want it "infecting" my vape world.

I push the button, the vapor comes out, I am happy (grunt). ;)

Of all the mods I've bought and used, I've never once used one in anything other than watts or volts mode. Watts is a little easier but not much.

I've ended up in TC mode but only by accident. I'm fine with both VV and VW. I need that first "V", but what comes after it isn't important (to me).

Oh wow! I used everything... VV, VW, and TC. I love all of them actually.

Nothing else counts. I'm fairly certain that there's no such thing as a "wrong" way to vape. :)

To this day I still don’t understand why watts is supposed to be easier than volts. I get that 14 watts on a different coil is still 14 watts, but a different coil will still need a different setting, so the philosophy just is beyond me.

Simply because it saves us from needing to make one adjustment. Someone who doesn't understand the differences might be more likely to burn a wick or coil with VV than they would be with VW.

I get it, particularly for newer vapers, but the value to me (similar to you and JUMA) is very limited.

Oh, I've wound up in the wrong mode more often than I care to admit and didn't like the results. Like one of the YouTube guys said, "It's like having X do Y down your throat."

I think one can be a bit more precise with watts than volts. All of my coils are between 0.5 and 1.8, so I'm setting the wattage between 12 and 16. Just whatever feels the best.

I've been swapping mods around during the holiday season. Mostly the Jac Vapour and Hcigar DNA 75's. Last night I picked up my old iStick Pico 75W and it's been in my hand since then! I had forgotten what a great little mod it was.

I've been rotating my new EHPro True atty and loving it. I still have the 2ml tank section in place. More frequent filling with the 2ml, but it's easy. Just twist the top and squirt the juice in. There's a larger barrel style tank section that I'll try today. That one holds 4ml juice. So far, it's tight and dry with no leaks and the flavor is top notch.

ETA: My EHPro True leaked today. It was user error, but also a function of having a top fill ring on top and an air flow ring on bottom. We are all used to holding an atty by the bottom to open a top fill cap. When you do that on the true, you turn one or the other. I closed the air ring when I refilled and then closed the top juice port. Later, when I adjusted the air ring I inadvertently opened the juice fill port! I'm learning that to do either juice fill or air adjust I need to hold the tank by the glass part in the center.

My Coppervape Skyline is moving slowly from Fasttech. It's still in China after moving through 3 checkpoints.

Hi . . . @DPLongo22 sent me here to check out your post . . Especially since I am considering getting the "Rex" and it's been a few days since you posted this . . . By any chance do you have any updates you wouldn't mind sharing . . . :?:

Thanks . . . :D

Hiya @Uncle ,

I can add that I am quite happy with its performance. I vape 6mg juices at 30w using a Baby beast tank and the Rex fires fast, delivering a slightly warm but big clouds of vapor just the way I like it!

However, I did find one itty bitty issue... I wish the firing button were bigger. Other than that, I am very happy so far. Hope that helps! :D

One of my trusty istick TC40W's wont complete the charge and dies quickly. I'm not disappointed, because Ive been using it for many years..

Should I get another one? Or should I consider something that fits all the 18350 batteries I have laying around? Its nice not having to remove the batteries to charge though..

Thanks!

As 2018 comes to an end, I want to thank the OP for another year of itty bitty goodness and friends. I don't get on ECF as often as I used to, but when I do I always look forward to visiting & catching up on this thread. Thanks to this thread I found lots of sweet people and my favorite itty bitty mod (Jac or Jackie ;)). It's like a warm homecoming whenever I log into ECF and find ittybittyland  Thank you @Katdarling and itty bitty nation. I look forward to finding you all when I log into ECF in 2019. Happy New year to all.

Hugs & Blessings,
d

Not a fan of the '350, so don't know what's out there, but...

Most current mods have built-in charging, so removal isn't strictly necessary. With the current state of laws, I'd go for removable battery mods. :2c:

If you just do wattage only no temp control the Wismec CB60 is a nice built in 2300 MaH battery mod that goes to 60 watts and fits the hand nicely. I use it for a work mod and it performs great. My wife has one also in purple and also loves it. I picked up a 2nd when 8 vape had the full kit on sale earlier in the month for $20.00. Element vape has the mod for $29.00.

    AGREED!

Last time I checked they were all of about $14 at Breazy too. Can't beat 'em for that price (if still the case).
