    LOL! "DOGGY!!!!"

    ;-)

    Doggystyle. Two makers, SXK and SMJY (or SJMY or SYMJ or-or-or...).

    Just type Doggystyle into FT. You shall see. They're marvelous (IMO).

    SXK's airflow hole is slightly smaller than the "Smidgie" one. I can't tell any difference but others can. They both work great for me.

    Just don't type Doggystyle into Google :oops::facepalm: And yes I did ONCE :lol:

    All future searches had RTA firmly placed into them ;)

    computer%20trouble%20comic%203%20paint%20rev.JPG

    I thumped it a couple of times like the cartoon! :w00t::lol::lol::lol: It's only 2 years old! :unsure: I've had the most awful luck with Dell & HP laptops :( Maybe time to listen to hubby and get a Mac. Hubby opened up and found it was a broken fan making that sound. :?: Good thing I have a backup laptop. Let me tell ya, it was a P I T A it is to move stuff from one PC to the other...I wish there were an easier way but we haven't found it yet! Anyways, here I am to wish you Happy IttbyBitty Mod Monday vapes :thumbs:

    Did you try Team Viewer? It's free to download (there's also a paid version, but not really needed for one-off stuff). Easy to sync both computers via the internet. Can do file transfers (as well as remote admin work from a distance.)

    hi @proax9

    no I haven't tried that. Thanks for the info :thumbs:

    Hubby goes the external hard drive route to transfer stuff manually. It works for now. If I continue using a PC laptop then we need to find a better, I mean more complete way, to transfer everything. I'm not keen on the cloud/over the internet option for privacy reasons. I'm looking into cloning options like Macrium Reflect... we'll see how it goes.

    Thanks again. :)

    Have used Macrium Reflect for years, cloning a HDD works simply and flawlessly

    @mackman
    I think hubby & I discussed Macrium last time. We should have bought it back then! :facepalm::laugh: Thanks for the thumbs up on Macrium.:)

    Yep. And there are other "cloning" software as well.

    Should be fairly easy and not too spendy to get a new fan in the old one, though.

    (We've had nothing but good luck with laptops from Toshiba and Asus.)

    Hola @DavidOck :)

    Good to know (if I go PC again!) - Thank you. :cool: Yep, hubby already ordered replacement :thumb:

    @clnire

    Sounds like the problems that I've been having with them.

    I had ordered a few things from them and one of the mods came with buttons that didn't work. The process of getting in touch with them and making arrangements to send in the defective mod was a little irritating, but not insurmountable.

    For the 3 weeks after tracking said they had received my returned package, I kept trying to contact them through their ticket system and couldn't Finally after 3 weeks, I called them and sat on hold for 45 minutes.

    They said they had sent the replacement package a couple of weeks ago. Sent to the WRONG address. They said they would send a replacement immediately, to the correct address. That was a week and a half ago. I'll find out tomorrow at work if it's arrived yet. It hadn't arrived Friday (which it should have).

    I guess it's time to call them and sit on hold for an hour. Maybe just give my money back. I'm fed up with it.

    Like you, I could log onto the website, but not the customer service section.
    Ok. I've had it.

    The replacement mod never arrived. I can't log into customer service. And, when I call, I get a message that "mailbox is full".

    ETA: Should I mail them a letter? No, not reliable. I could go all the way to Las Vegas (I think) and just walk in their front door.

    My favorite itty bitty. For perspective, that is a mini Berserker on there and looks absurd on that tiny mod. It is an ijoy diamond vpc. What I like about it besides the size:

    ---can use pods or regular tanks
    ---45w
    ---nice fire button
    ---menu button is on front, easy access
    ---solid, not flimsy

    Only maybe negative is it is only internal batt but it does hold a charge for a long time as it has 20350, 1400mah batt.
