I'd like to hear your stories. Here's mine:

vaping made me quit tomato juice.

Most people insist on the fact that they taste food better. I sure smell food better, but the taste has not really changed for me. I never felt like I was missing part of the taste of food, but I did discover I can't bare the taste of tomato juice anymore. The only brand I was able to drink was Heinz, but now even that has a slight nasty after-taste I can't cope with. Unfortunately, everything that make me fat still taste as good and smell even better than ever.

I've had to change coffee brands, and that's something I am very particular about. Other than that I notice that my sense of smell is going crazy especially with cigarette smoke, before I never would notice it now if someone lights up within 20' of me I am like yuck.... And that in itself to me is odd because it's something I liked for so long.

I swear my allergies are worse! Other than that, I feel better.

I didn't know what an allergy was until I moved to South Texas. I don't know if I am just getting old, but my goodness my allergies are off the charts. I think Wizard labs snuck some mountain cedar in my nic base or something.

As for little things, my t-shirts don't have burns in them anymore and I had to change brand of softener because, once I could smell properly, I realized it was supremely over-scented.

I have found 2 things. First off we have one local chain of gas stations that sell fountain drinks with filtered water for ice and drinks. I can't drink anything else except filtered water now. All others taste like crap. Also anyone who drives in front of me now and smokes makes me sick. I can't stand the smell of analogs any more. I have no idea how I did that for 15+ years. 2 years on the vape now

I'm the same way Reign, I can smell a smoker from across a parking lot. Never would have thought I'd be that sensitive to the smell of smoke, its terrible, and keeps me from going back when I'm having a bad vaping day.

I don't enjoy eating food from McDonald's anymore, it tastes like crap now.

Same experience here. Hate most fast food now (good thing actually) unless it's pretty spicy. McDonald's tasted awful and haven't been back.

The smell of cigarettes was appalling for almost two years. That was a big help in staying off them. Now it doesn't smell so bad as long as the smoke is fresh. Dog farts still smell nasty.

What's silly about it? When you smoke you don't smell it. After you've been completely off it for a while and your senses come back, it really does smell as bad as every non-smoker claimed it did.

Sub vapes and smokes. If he ever quits smoking, he'll understand what we're talking about.

Oh yea I didn't know.

@Sub it's perfectly fine to be a dual user, but you aren't smelling the same thing ex-smokers are smelling. I still remember quite literally soaking up the delicious smell of a burning cigarette. Now I can't be in the same room with a smoker. I don't mind that they smoke. It just makes me gag.
