I see that they are higher, but how much do you think that they should charge? I mean V4L charges $70 for a starter kit and $10 for a pack of cartomizers. Don't you think that a business has a right to make a profit? Why not hit up every business that charges more for a product than you can find online? What are they charging maybe $10-20 more than you can find on here? Don't you think that convenience is worth a price? It's not like they're charging as much as SE does or more. Just seems like a ridiculous thing to complain about to me.

They have a right to make profit. But compared to what they are offering for that price it is a rip-off. I know the guy that works there and he told me they have not sold 1 yet.. 1 month on shelf..

For $70 V4L offers:

2 automatic batteries
1 Extra Long Battery of your Choice
1 Custom Carry case,
1 Box of 5 Cartomizers---SAME FLAVOR-STRENGTH
1 USB charger
1 wall charger

For $60 Gas Station Offers:

2 Automatic batteries
1 Wall Charger

Cartomizers are extra $20 and 2 flavors to choose from..

Would you buy it knowing what you know?

Well what do you think is a reasonable price for a business to take a chance on an unproven product? Almost everything that you can buy online is cheaper than what you would pay for in a retail outlet. If you think that there should be no retail outlets, just say so. I think that businesses that have to pay for a building should be able to pay for that space. Now I would personally buy online for a cheaper price, but to complain about the price that a business charges that really isn't unreasonable, just more than you would pay for online just seems silly.

Also if you think that what they charge is unreasonable, I suggest that you open your own store and charge a cheaper price and put them out of business. Except that I think that you would find that that is a decent price if you pay for overhead, and you would want to charge that price if not more.

well, newb i wont troll your opinion. that is insane. im just glad to see its becoming more popular. and as for "taking a chance" on unproven products, there are hundreds of thousands of unproven products that stock shelves every day and they are not charging an arm and a leg to buy. just walk into any thrift store. V4L has a office, and they dont have to charge an extreme premium to stay open. they might even be getting from the same supplier at a pretty even cost copared to those outlet stores. just give it time. those gas stations will eventually get the idea that they are charging waaaaaay too much. convenience does play a factor but not that much.

edit, just saw last comment. yeah because the guys at V4L do it for free right? oh yeah, and company trips to china dont cost anything, thats right.

No but anyone buying in a gas station doesn't know what we know.

That pretty much explains it. Unproven product, haven't sold any yet "1 month on shelf" Sounds to me like the are losing their a**. Be glad that stores are willing to sell them at all.

yeah i have seen places selling juice for $14 per 1/2 ounce or 14.7 ml. it is pricey to buy at stores but i believe that will change or maybe not . i am just glad i know to buy online . that is capitalism for ya , if you do not lie it then do not buy it . i see a lot of online vendors charging way too much imo compared to others but hey they will not get my money . in that thinking if people want to waste their money paying for a brand name there is nothing anyone else can do about it . i am glad to see stores selling as well due to the fact that this may give us a better foot hold to keep our vaping legal .

Big station, on major intersection = plenty of business. Im sure if they lower the price it wouldnt hurt the profit and loss report at the end of the day. They own the property btw..

Im complaining because not only is it overpriced, but they know nothing about it which makes it more "unproven" to the potential buyer...

Q. How long does the battery last? A. "I dont know"

Q. What about the cartridge? A. "Good Question!"

If they can not answer simple questions about it, how do they expect to sell it?

I think it would be fair for $50 a kit and $12 for cartoz.. they still make $2600 per 100 units that way.. (Costs them $30 & $6 wholesale) But they should learn about what they are selling first..

A large percentage of business don't own the property they are on. Did an employee tell you this or the owner?

Im complaining because not only is it overpriced, but they know nothing about it which makes it more "unproven" to the potential buyer...

Well duh. It's a convenience store. I'm sure they train the employees about all their products. Which peanut bag is a better value? Which condom is safer.

Hhm,At least they gave you an honest answer. Its a corner store for gods sake. What do you expect. If you want specific info go to a specialty store.

According to your post they have made nothing. They have lost ALL of their investment. How do you decide what is fair?

When you think about it they may not be too awfully anxious to sell them in the first place.

My local gas station tried ringing up my usual carton of cigs last night without me even asking for them. Seemed a little disappointed when I told her I quit... lol.. maybe she was just proud that she remembered them for me... :) I know I was spending $75 a week up there that they won't be getting from me anymore.

That be why the started to sell them in the first place. The corner store I used to buy my analogs always sold them as low as they could get away with. It was a lead in item. People come in for a pack of smokes and while they was there picked milk/beer/lotteryticket/soda/snacks. The increase tobacco taxes here in florida has people buying less cigarettes

They might have had the smart ... type customer come in and when asked if he wanted his normal cigarettes pulled out his vaporking and blow a nice big puff of vapor at them across the counter. Smile and say nope I found something alot better.

Sorry if I'm coming across like a ...., but products always cost more when you factor in space and employees, compared to an online business that doesn't have to pay a premium for a physical store and employees that have to work a counter in order to make money.

Unless you bought them from Costco. Costco sold the NPro for awhile in store and it was the same price as online, except Costco threw in an extra 75 carts to go with it.

I also think that if WalMart started selling these things, they would decrease in price dramatically. But I also think the quality of the product would decline.
