Long time reader, first time poster - PLZ help with Ultrasonic Cleaner!

Hey guys, just got an ultrasonic cleaner to speed up steeping. I have a few questions..

First of all, here is what I bought..

"Magnasonic MGUC500 Professional Ultrasonic Jewelry & Eyeglass Cleaner With Digital Timer"

What is the best way to go about using this? We all know the issue is it will tear off labeling so we have to protect our labels somehow. What I did at first was rubberband a few bottles then put some saran wrap around them so no water would get it. I was not seeing any bubbles in the ejuce, so I assumed it was not working??

I was told that no bubbles in the ejuice is a good thing..

So I started over, put a small weight in the bottom of a ziplock bag, and put all my bottles inside the bag, and laid inside the cleaner submurged to the fill point with water. Will this work?

Is it best for lid on or off the bottles. I am using glass bottles by the way if that matters.

I tested 1 bottle with the cap off, and did not see any bubbles in the juice either. I assumed I would see bubbles if it were mixing the juice, but apparently that is not the case.

Don't want to hijack or derail your thread, but have to get 5 post out of the way.
So first, welcome to the forum.
Second, have you used that cleaner to clean your rda's? Maybe using vodka as the cleaning solution? If so how good a job does it do?

I have not used to clean anything, however I tested some foil, and it created some holes in it and also left some foil flakes at the bottom... So it works! I guess the part that stinks is, how do we know it's working on the juice?

I've read through the UC posts on here, and couldn't find anything that directly answered my questions. I've found frequency and how long to put juice in an UC, and some people suggesting to leave tops off, but not a "guide" if you will that addressed what I was looking for. Perhaps no one knows the answer? It's just hard to quantify if the juice is actually steeping in the UC. I initially thought it would create bubbles, but it does not. The cleaner itself is working.

At this point I am just about self sufficient with vaping! I am rebuilding my coils for my pro tanks and making my own juice. I have been smoke free for 3 weeks!

If your machine is working right, about 1 hour in the machine = 1 week of steeping. Yes you must use glass bottles.

Awesome, I will check it out. I removed all seran wrap/bags. I think that may have been hindering the vibrations a bit. I just put some clear tape on the labels to keep from coming off. In the future I will just mark my bottles with something and once they are finished in the UC, I will add labels.

you could try running them thru in batches (same mix) so you could leave the labels off until after they are done?
