welcome to ecf. and i suggest taking a trip to your local vapor shop and trying as many juices as you can until you find something that you like the taste of. as for starter kits ego evod kit is my 2 cents. only issue i have with them is the evod tanks do not have a removable tip and if you arent careful they can crack or break off at the tip then the tank is trash. the day i got my starter kit my kid tossed the cancer sticks in the trash and i havent looked back.

Before you buy anything, read lots and lots on here so you have a good idea about what will work best for you, where to get it (vendors), and how much to pay. It will save you $$ in the long run because it will help you miss some beginner steps and mistakes and you will end up with one thing that works great for you vs two or three things that you put aside and save for emergencies only.

Hello Shhmoker14! Welcome to ECF and congrats on a wise decision. Whatever you decide to get, always have backup equipment available. You don't want to erase days of accomplishments because you have to charge a battery or replace an atomizer. Don't think of it as quitting smoking. Just vape instead of smoking when you get urges. As time goes by it will get easier.

Hello folks ! So yes I am new to this whole E-Cig thing. My main reason for starting is because 4 days ago i quit smoking after 17 years of it, so I am hoping E-cigs will help with my transition. Any suggestions, help, or guidance would be appreciated.
Hello and welcome to ECF! :)

Most important, stay hydrated! Water water water water ... second, whatever you decide to use get a back up :)

Welcome to the forum. If you haven't bought a starter kit yet, this is a very good one for beginners. I have this kit, and recently ordered one for my young adult granddaughter who wanted to start vaping. It comes with everything you need to get started, except some juice. You get two batteries, so you can use one and have one ready as a back up.

If you use the code ECF at checkout you get 10% off, which makes it around $30, and the shipping is free. This is a reliable vendor and has good customer service also, should you need it:

Kanger EVOD eGo Full Kit - Vaping Me

Good luck to you. Vaping has allowed me to stop smoking after a 40 year plus, 2 pack a day habit.:)

40 year Marlboro smoker. 3 month vaping anniversary coming up. Vape really hard and a lot without shame or allowing others to slow you down. It will give you the nicotine that you need while time goes by and you notice that you breathe and feel better. At three months the cigarettes that I loved seem repulsive. Good luck to you.

That is such great advice. I think as smokers we got so used to people nagging us and complaining about our smoking. We have a tendency to become defensive about vaping as well. So vape proudly, and don't let what others say or think keep you from doing this good thing for yourself.
