they do not work at that voltage
we have specified this everywhere
the 3.0 to 3.2 is for high volt vaping only and are meant only for 4.7 and above only or will not work properly

The 3.0 to 3.2 ohm sapphire are of the newer variety and do not experience the issues the normal ohms have, none that have been reported except maybe 1 person i think . Those where sent out to be tested and results where fantastic but im sure there could be a bad here n there but with your issue your using it at a to low of voltage.

And as we have said many time with the 2.2ohm version if they have a issue we will replace them for you. There is also major sapphire news coming in a week.

on your initial fill, after vaping for a while, remove it off the battery, clean off any moisture, remove the mouthpeace and put your mouth on the battery connector end of the sapphire and blow hard, catch any excess fluid with a napkin on the other end, then place the MP back on and back on your battery and it should just fine form there but this is once your using it at the voltage needed for those

I tried it at higher voltages at first and all I got was a burnt taste. I'm trying your suggestion now. I'll report back with my findings.

try it out, if it doesnt work then you must have a bad one, try the second one you have, if thats giving you a issue then make your blocking the one airhole on the connector of the sapphire, see if thats the case, if not pm me and ill handle you.
You want me to block one of the airholes or make sure it's not block?

make sure the hole in the screw connector part of the sapphire, there is one hole there, that should not be blocked on your device.

I only mention this because of device like the hello battery and types like it which hove no air vents cut into the 510 connection, some other batteries only have 2 which might leave the hole on saphire completely blocked, while others have 4 which should work properly but you can alos back up at tad to expose that hole for perfect airflow depending on your device.

if thats not the issue just pm and ill straighten you out with another pack. This has not been a prevalent issue with the 3.0 ohm version but lets figure out whats going on with you exactly and take it from there.

Thanks for the info. i'm using them on my Darwin and it has the four vents so airflow shouldn't be an issue. I'll give it until tomorrow and let you know if I still have issues.

Harpo I am using the 3.0 Ohm Saphires on my Darwin as well. I am using the 510-510 extender since I had my Darwin repaired they put in the new adapter thing into the brass connector. 4.7 V or 6.7-7 Watts is what I am running them on. Like you anything higher get a burnt taste. Of the 6 I ordered 4 of the 6 wick too well with 1 even leaking out the battery connector end after only taking a few hits and the other 3 will flood and have to be blown out. To get juice into the coil just take 1-3 hits without activating the Darwin. This should take care of your problem.

Thought I lost one of my Sapphires today. Tore up the house looking for it. Turns out it was under the pen cap of my GotVapes Ego. Just why did I screw that cap back on that ego? I never screw the cap on my ego, I need my nic fix too much to be screwing that cap back on my ego. Luckily I had another Sapphire stuck on my GLV that helped me get through the anxiety of losing my favorite Sapphire until I found it again.
