I ordered this deal a couple of days ago from fasttech - can't wait to have it. I'm getting a little tired of these eGo-C's and their limitations. I was really confused about which model to get - some are different finishes, some have different battery configurations, and a different charger. I ended up just getting the one that someone first posted (the chrome model with the nitecore charger and 18650 batteries.)

I'm also waiting on an eVic and protanks. Ughhh the waiting is the hardest part!

Here is the link for the Sigelei Zmax v3 kit I am also considering:

Authentic Sigelei Zmax Telescope- Body, Batteries, Case, & Charger!

Looks pretty nice. A touch more expensive, but if it's a good device I'd not mind paying for it. Varitube also gives you a 90 day warranty for it which I understand is pretty darn good compared to some other vendors.

One minus to the Vamo for me (from what I can see in pictures of it anyway) is the flashlight like dimensions of it. Seems to be rather large when using the 18650 battery configuration (I am aware that it can be shortened using the 18350 battery). The Sigelei v3 looks a bit more...curvy?

vamo is a good buy....exhale vapors has them cheap....spend the extra 5 or 10 on ss, fasttech is reliable these daysView attachment 213828

That's where I got my second Vamo and had a free shipping code at the time. Couldn't beat it with a stick! I already had the charger and batteries so it was a good deal for me. And they ship fast.

That's exactly what I got, but from a different chinese distrubutor for I think 40 bucks or so, you have to "make" and account and then all the prices drop. vamo mod v2 vv vw - VaporBreak
It took 21 working days to get to me. The only thing I regret is that had I have used a USA dealer, if I had a problem with the device I could actually get a replacement. Buying from china is cheap, which is exactly what I wanted because i didnt know if this was for me or not, but when it comes to customer service you might as well hang it up. I mean maybe its ok but being so far away your not getting anything done fast.

But I am enjoying my Vamo I did research before i got it. My next order of any device will be from America though

I just ordered a Vamo V2 for myself in SS finish. I also ordered a Kanger Protank. The package wasn't as cheap as the one you listed, which seems like a really good deal, but I also didn't shop around for pricing. I noticed when I ordered from MyVaporStore before that my item was processed and shipped in a half hour's time. Maybe it was perfect timing when I ordered vs when trucks were backing up to the dock, but regardless, I wanted super fast shipping since I'm going camping on Friday. So I figured if I stick with a semi local online retailer (nobody local besides Blu dealers, and MVS is 3 hours away) and couple that with overnight shipping, I should be good to have the Vamo for my little trip coming up. Overnight shipping is meaningless if the retailer takes 8 days to process it, imo, which is why I was somewhat particular about my order. :p And all in the name of having a longer vape time at the camp site... :p

I do have to admit, as a new user it is SUPER helpful to have some online retailers selling the Vamo V2 in a sort of package kit like this. When I picked up mine, it gave me the list of available batteries as well as a list of appropriate chargers for those batteries. All I had to do was do a quick Google search of what some users are using on their Vamo and before I knew it the Kanger Protank was on the radar. :D Otherwise it can seem a little confusing as to what goes with what and where why how and whatnot.

Anyway, hope you enjoy your Vamo. I'm sure it wouldn't even be mentioned on this forum if it isn't as awesome as people say it is. :D

Thank you all of your input and suggestions - please feel free to continue with your thoughts and comments! It does sound like this Vamo kit is a great deal. I may have to rethink the black option in favor of the stainless model due to the issues previous posters mentioned. Stainless is OK, but my preference would be black, although I believe I could buy a J wrap for it, yes?

I am also considering the Sigelei Zmax v3 (telescoping) instead of the Vamo. I'll have to find the link for the kit I was looking at online. I have seen one in person and used it and it does have a large degree of appeal also. Definitely like the angled head more than then flat top model. The telescoping feature is nice too along with the battery flexibility options. The OLED screen seems to be pretty nice as well.

Back to the Vamo - can I use the other "in between size" batteries in it (I think I've read about 18490 and/or maybe 18500?), or just either the 18650 or 18350 types?

With the Vamo you have two battery options: 18650 or 18350. I recommend getting two sets (4 total) of the 18350’s. You can reduce the physical size of the Vamo by using one 18350. Or use it in full size using two 18350's. Using two 18350's gives you a little longer vape time over using one 18650. I have also read that only by using two 18350's can you reach the full 15 watt power output of the Vamo.

I also just saw in pbusardo's video that IF you use the one 18650 battery, there's a bit of a rattle (extra space in the tube) but IF you use two 18350 batteries, there is no rattle (the batteries fit snug.) Hence, I just ordered several 18350's from fasttech. I really wish I had gotten the SS one - it was mentioned in the review how easily the chrome finish scratches and gets thumbprints.

Your story sounds very similar to mine. I have been vaping for a couple months and moved up to my Vamo from an Ego 650mah passthough. Best decision I've made in vaping so far has been the Vamo purchase. For the price I don't think it can be beat. I would recommend the SS version. I do construction, and my SS Vamo and Protank are with me all day long and are still looking like brand new. I've had them for about a month now. One thing to remember also, if you plan on using your T3's on the Vamo, you will need a 510 to Ego adapter. They do not fit on the Vamo without it. Another suggestion would be to look into a 18350 battery or two for when you take the Vamo out. 18650 mode is quite large, where as the 18350 mode is more pocket friendly.

That was with the V1. The V2 has a larger improved spring in the end cap and has no rattle.

You see that's the second time someone has said something about vamos in general that doesn't apply to mine.
I can use a T3 and EVOD on mine with absolutely no issues what so ever. Maybe I got a clone of a knockoff of a copy of a vamo.

I've had my SS V2 for a few months now and by and large have been very happy with it. I bought it from a local B&M store. I like the way it looks and feels in the hand. I even like the surprised robot look. My only gripe is that I wished they would have flush mounted the oled. It's a very minor gripe and not a deal breaker by any means. The only problem I've had was that the center post got pushed down by a Smoktec RSST. I didn't know that it had happened and consequently all my vivi novas wouldn't work correctly. I thought it was a problems with my 6 vivi novas and was ready to chuck them in the trash until read a post on here about the center post and how it could get pushed down. I pried it up slightly and now all is right with the world again.

Wow. I've never seen a T3 attached to a Vamo, and I did quite a bit of reading up on the Vamo forum before I got mine. I guess I won't be making that comment anymore. My Vamo does take the EVOD without any issues, just not the T3's.
