Hello everyone! I am fairly new to vaping and just finished my first sub-ohm build but the dripping is killing me so obviously I started looking into the Reos. Am I correct in my assumption that the Reos now shipping are the ones with the newer components that are better suited to sub-ohming? I probably won't ever go lower than about .5 ohms but just in case I get the itch to try lower will the Reos be able to handle a lower build.

I'm also looking at their rba's on their site so I can use the onboard bottle, is there specific one from the Reos site you would reccomend for a LP Grand?

Thanks in advance for your help!:vapor:

Hello ReigntheGamer, welcome to Reoville.
If you are going for a new LP Grand, it will come with the subohm kit installed.
If you get a used Grand from the classies, try to get the LP Version. If without subohm kit, you can convert it by a new Reo repair kit.
Most people here including me love the RM2 or alteratively the RM3 with dual coil option.
With an LP Grand, you can use any bottomfeeder rba:

Welcome again, I'm sure, that you will love the Reo.

You are wise to listen to those experienced NT peeps. Forget dripping - bottom feeding is the way to go. All the goodness, none of the hassle. If you like to flavour jump, you can always drip into any atty atop a reo, too.

The basic first question is with respect to your inhale style. If you like mouth2lung, the smaller chamber atties like the RM2, RM3, and IGO-S will give you decent vapor and hella flavour. If direct lung inhaling is more your style, you'd prolly prefer the larger chamber atties like the RM4, RM5, and RM6 with afc you can open up wide. The best range of vape style coverage you could get to start out with would, IMHO, be the RM2 plus RM4. The price is right for both of those atties and they'd let you do anything from single coil, cool, flavourful M2L draws to dual coil, warm, fat cloud direct lung pulls.

To cover these bases and future proof your setup, you should get the Low Profile (LP) version of the grand. It has a shallower catch cup that lets you put any kind of atty on it. Note you would need the LP version of the RM2 if you went that way.

Most of us have been around the block and used a fair few devices. Once we moved to reoville, though, we found home and are here to stay. There's always room for one more, so get 'er done, son, and come join the party (we have canapés).

Right now I am running a HCigar Stingray X clone with a Mutation X on it. Dual coil set up 28ga, running at .6 ohms with efest batteries and it's really chucking vapor with really good flavor from my Nicoticket juices. I'm also waiting on some Xtar VTC4's to be delivered. It's a great set-up for at home but am looking for something I can get drip type vape while out and about.

Thank you all for the informationsuggestions looks like I will have some shopping to do soon, can't wait!

Really good info to help me choose I don't mind the "airyness" of MutX so it sounds like RM4 is probably what I should be looking at. I am a lung inhaler, every once in awhile I will mouth to lung but not much.

If possible, add an RM2 to your order.
RM2 is sort of a "reference" rba, very easy to build, delivering great taste.
It is this taste, you want to calibrate your other rbas to.

i run dual coil Atomics/RM4s on my LP grands - they are 19mm atties and so you can still move the door up or down to change batteries or fill the bottle.

Bigger atties will mean the door will only slide down, no big deal, and if i use 22mm atties on a Reo that's the way it has to be. If you already use the Mutant as a dripper you can either mod it or have it modded to bottom feed and the same goes for a lot of atties.

The LP Reos will now take anything with a 510 connection.

Well I just pulled the trigger on a Silver Vein Reos / and an R4. As far as the MutX goes we have a welding/machine shop I'm pretty sure if I research it I can mod it to work as well. Which will be awesome because then I have one to build on and one to vape on.... :D

I have to tap out now I think, have a Stingray X w/ MutX, Reos w/ R4, 2 efest batteries and 2 Xtar VTC4's. Shinyitis has to stop now I just need a couple of gallons of NT juice and I am good to go.

You got the LP model, right? That's the one with all the versatility to use any and all of the RBAs (including the RM4.). Just making sure.....
