So I am in need of a personal carry holster for my Kgo. I have no idea if what I need even exists, but I figured ECF would be the best place to ask.

Criteria:

- Hard/Composite material, not fabric. I'm a outdoor/fisherman and construction worker type. It needs to stand up to some minor abuse from bumping into things.

- Belt Clip, not a pass through the belt style. So I can take it off if needed and put it in a pocket or truck without taking my belt off.

- Minimum 7" tall, so I can have a completed unit, ready to vape.

- Closeable top flap, With Magnet closure would be ideal (unless that is a danger to the battery?) or Velcro or Snap.

Ive been looking at leatherman/knife/flashlight holders, so far no luck.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I found this today, works pretty good. When taking it out you want to put your finger in the bottom to push it up a bit.

Not sure pulling on the drip tip out the top is ideal, since it is a snug fit. But hey for like 8 bucks it works!

Found it at Lowes, but its at Home Depot and Menards.

I started a thread about what I found. It fits all your requirements except it's nylon. However, you can find them in leather too. I'ts a cigar holder, with waist band clip. See below...

Just wanted to share what I bought to carry my VP on my person. I have a KGO, but this is big enough to hold larger VP's. It will hold TWO. And you can give away or throw away the cigar cutter & lighter. It's $17.59.

Camouflage Cigar Clip Bag
It has two plastic cases (normally used to hold two cigars) for up to 8" tall cigars. This is plenty tall enough for our uses.

I bought it in black, not camo, however. Just got it in today, so have not actually used it yet, but I put in my KGO with XL carto and stainless steel drip tip attached, with plenty of room.

Then there is the little pocket compartment, in front, that will hold TWO of my 15ml bottles with eyedropper top (Johnson Creek) easily, and I think even TWO 30 ml bottles (I only have ONE 30 ml bottle but it fits in there with one of my 15 ml bottles.

Just wanted to share in case you wanted to try this

How do you carry your e-cig around?

I like the extendable flash light holster I got. Right now I am stretching it out with a small mag light in it, cause its kinda tight. You just need to make sure to pay attention which way you place it in there, if the button faces straight out it will hit the button.

I'm thinking once its stretched out it should work, however I might need to sew something or glue something on the bottom so it won't fall out.

There s a lady in the suppliers forum that makes PV carriers and she can customize them to whatever you need. Mine is leather and carries 2 egos, and has a little snapped pocket on the back that holds extra cartos and juice. It can be snapped on my belt or it also has a snap hook that can be snapped onto the belt loop of my jeans if I am not wearing a belt. She can put a custom design on the front too.

This doesn't meet the criteria you set out in your first post. Have you lowered your expectations/standards?

Given what's on the market I had to for the moment. I have a fishing trip coming up where I needed something. There are some nice accessory modders here on the ECF forums, but I need to convince the wife to let me purchase one lol. The flash light holder is close. It may not look like it but the outter shell is HARD, as to protect the battery. It has a belt clip like I wanted. No top though. No bottom, which I need to remedy. But it does the trick I think with a little modification.

So I just wanted to report back. The flashlight belt holster I got at the home improvement store worked perfectly for my Kgo. No alterations, just used it as is, and it never slipped out.

For $8 a solid win if you are looking for something similar. It expands to hold larger flashlights, so it could probably hold larger mods like Provari's, Silver Bullets, Lava Tubes, ect. I would just be wary of if you do not have a 5 on/off button, because the compression could push it down. My Kgo has a small button (and a 5 on/off), but I just made sure to slide it in and align the button with the gap in the side that is naturally created by putting something in the holster.

Also the outside cover is pretty much crush proof, rock solid.
