Okay so I have been researching and researching and I'm not even done researching yet. The more I do the more unsure I get. Here's what I use all day everyday (The inferno with the magma atomizer and a drip tip) I have ditched the joye 510 and kr8 except for backups.
I have spent a boat-load of money on kits and I see atomizers and especially batteries for the Inferno in my future adding up to big money. I love the Inferno and I know it's comparable to the eGo and vGo so those don't interest me. Maybe someday a Leo is in my future but not now.
I just am left wanting and I would like advice.
I am looking for quality above looks, safety above all, vapor (lots of it), and not necessarily a strong TH. In fact I have lost interest in the harsh TH except when horrible analog cravings hit. So that is moot.
Here's what I have looked at so far and liked:
Reo Grand - nice but not sure of the price:confused: or when it's available
Precise 16 or 18 - very nice especially coupled with the vapemate - very expensive
GGTS - again nice and a bit expensive too after adding the AVS and such
Pro Vari - I like it, it's a bit bulky looking ( another thread said it best... looks like a BOB) but the only down side I see is the circuitry. The less electronics the better.
Here's what I'm leaning towards - mechanical, metal, medium battery (since I can vape all day on the Inferno with one charge, at the most two.)

I know I have missed some mods here and I have looked over a bunch of threads and one just like this very one I am starting that was by TurboJesus. He settled on the Precise and for me I am just not sure I want to fork over 200 for the 18. (hope you don't mind the mention TurboJesus but I read and reread that entire thread at least 3 times and followed almost every link and product mentioned there)
I also read through some links like the WWV mods section. Good read. I just want some suggestions from people who have owned their mod for a good while and have settled on it. Pretty much decided 'this is it' for now:p Those who feel that they would stand by their mod and act the part of salesperson they love it that much.
I'm not in a big hurry but would like to decide and order by the first part of February. I know mods are hard to get, and I figure that not buying cigarettes and the 50/week on nic gum... I could just about swing it by then.
Oh and one last thing... I know a mod is bit of tricky piece of equipment(needs to be monitored)and I don't need 'plug and play' but ease of use and easy maintenance is a good selling point too.
Sorry for the novel:oops:just figured good advice needed info to start with

my first choice for a store bought mod right now is the helix by cisco. it is elegant and will use several battery sizes so it is the best mod for me.
thats the thing, its about what YOU are looking for, just like in ejuice...

I just ordered me the Precise 16340 and cannot wait for it to be in my hot lil hand, lol. I've read so much awesome stuff about the Precise line and how happy Precise owners are that I finally made my choice and I know it's the best choice I could make. Go on over the the Super T Manufacturing forum and read and look at pics. David is a wonderful guy to work with and from all the pictures I've see does an incredible job! Good luck on your decision, I couldn't be happier with mine and I don't even have it yet. :)

@Shannon -Is a variable voltage going to require complicated electronics? I considered the Pro Vari for the variable voltage; it made me go hmmmm. Still will have to see more pics of it. No offense to bob the wolfeyes but it reminds me of a BOB and it makes me smile. Pull that out of a purse and others will smile too.
Seriously though you have a good bit of mods... does that mean you're still searching for the vaping nirvana or you just like to try new things? Are the ones you have reliabe/satisfying or are you still searching.

@Bella - I saw that you were ordering your 16 in another post, the one where you guys were drawing up the sizes of the 16 and the 18 Precise model. i think that was TurboJesus thread. Congrats

I use to only buy mechanical mods. But got tired of cleaning it all the time. All electronical mods I had not a single button has failed on me. So I kind of look at it different from alot of people. I guess I am lazy. I owned a few of the mods stated above and my vote is the provari. It may not be the prettiest mod but it Rocks.

If a REO is on your list, subscribe to this thread for updates - Rob says he hopes to have some available on the 29th. His process lately is that he takes e-mails, first come, first served, after he lists his available inventory. But watch the thread for instructions.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s-supplier-forum/134438-www-reosmods-com.html

I have both the REO Grand and Mini, and love them both. My favorite of the two is the Mini - the compact form factor is just right, and with a LR306 atty it vapes like a champ. I carry a few extra 14500 batteries with me - after a few months of use, I get about 5 hours out of them now. I carry an extra 18650 battery for the Grand as well, but have never used up a battery in a day. They're both built like tanks and will probably outlast me.

I can also vouch for Super T's quality - David makes top-notch devices (I have a Precise 10440). I'd probably have one of his larger Precise models if I hadn't gone the juice feeder route.

Thanks for the info on the electronics Gotcoffee.
@Pianoguy - so which do you prefer? Is the Super T more for out and about type vaping while you use the Reo for everything else? Or do you take your Reo with you pretty much everywhere? Do you prefer the Reo because you don't need to refill juice often or other reasons?

I think you'd be best deciding on the features you want and then finding a mod to suit that really.

Focusing on the mechanical, medium battery style, have you considered the GGTB or the Mako V2? Both are quite reasonably priced. I have a Mako, it's very well made. The Screwdriver MkII is another possibility.

This site has a good list of most available mods - http://www.ecigarette-mods.com/

I just ordered myself a ProVape-1....can't wait. I did lots and lots of researching and looking around as well, but found out that the ProVape-1 is not as big and bulky looking as you may think. It fits nicely in your hand (female or male) to the point where you can almost hide it, except for the atty/tip. I also didn't want something that was too big and bulky and I think I will be very happy with this....well, until I get the itch for the ProVari VV mod that is....lol. They have it, as well as the ProVari on sale right now and I think it is a very good price compared to some of the others that I was attracted to.

Note: and yeah...it does resemble a B.O.B...but that's okay too...makes for fun conversation!

Honestly the Super-T sits in my drawer - I rarely use it. I bought it very early in its availability, wanting a mechanical device that would use non-proprietary batteries. It is very solid, but the battery life of the 10440 is quite short. Meanwhile, I became sold on the juice-feeders after having a WetBox - it isn't a particularly robust device, but the concept was great. I had read many positive reviews about the REO and decided to get a Mini as soon as they became available, and it has gone everywhere with me since. I never had the patience for atomizers before - I didn't care to be dripping or filling the small cartridges all the time, so I had gone the cartomizer route. The REO made it possible for me to enjoy using atomizers - its feed system makes atty's a breeze. Getting a Grand was just icing on the cake - double the juice capacity, and all-day battery life, as well as the option to run 6-volt (with 2 3v CR123's). But it is a bigger, heavier device - not uncomfortable, but not as pocket-friendly as the Mini. Not having to fill or drip all the time takes a lot of the hassle out of vaping. The REO mods also have a little well around the atty, which allows you to put a couple drops of another flavor in to try something out or take a quick taste. Anyway, the REO's fit my usage perfectly, and my black Mini is very discreet - most folks would probably mistake it for a small cell phone.

Vari Volt Saber Touch by vapormoon is an awesome mod. The touch switch will outlast you.

The Buzz is another awesome variable voltage mod. Can be found at notcigs.

Icon is all mechanical 3.7v mod by puresmoker. Very nice handy mod for stealth vaping.

If you like box mods, Ken's Box Mods has 2 variable voltage units. Big Brother and Little Sister. I have both of these and love them. You can also get them in straight 3.7 volt and I think 5v. I haven't checked his site lately. boxmods.net

GGTB is all mechanical. Can vape at 3.7, 6.0, 7.2, 7.4 volts depending on what batteries you use. Well built. Can be found at vaporkings.

If you can afford a reo mini and can wait then everyone who has touched it seems to like it...but you have to play the waiting game for that.

I like the Icon (smaller 3.7) and the Prodigy V3.1 (larger 3.7 or 6 volts) from PureSmoker.com - USA Electronic Cigarettes & USA Made eLiquid!!!
They are both reasonably priced at 80 bucks...and they both have locking buttons

the ggtb looks nice but I prefer 510 native devices and unlike the ggts you only have the 901 option.

The monkey box looks cool too but I kinda' like the REO as far as box mods go. I love wood. Wood grain patterns fascinate me but... I'm hard on stuff. Really hard on things. Metal seems to be my best bet on longevity of a mod for me. So I'm still searching the forums to find the best way to get on a list for the REO mini. I saw that he is putting a batch up for sale on the 29th. I guess I'll just camp on his website and push 'buy now' when they say available.

Otherwise I am liking the GGTS and the Precise 16. I want to like the pro vari and it's still on my list. The thing I keep coming back to is wanting a juice fed system.

I'm still open for opinions since there is no guarantee a REO is in my future.
As far as the style goes.. the Chuck was the first mod I really liked because I could personalize what it looked like. It's a very hard decision and the more I read the more I sway back and forth. I am only sure I want metal and I want juice fed. It doesn't knock out tube devices like the precise 16, it just means I'd have to factor in the cost of the vapemate or with the GGTS the cost of the AVS.
