Welcome Livi!

I have the MVP, but neither the Tesla nor the Vamo. MVP is a self-contained battery. 3.3-5.0V or 6.0-11.0W Can't really fire much below a 1.2-ish ohm coil (tho there are those out there who've fired a 0.8ohm coil.) MVP is box-shaped; Tesla/Vamo tube-shaped. Picking a new PV is really about pros/cons about what you want from vaping. I'm somewhat in the hunt for another PV myself, but I'm thinking if I do anything, I want a slightly higher-powered device. I build my own coils, but rarely below 1.7 ohms (at this time) I like that the MVP is a pass-through device (vape while charging) where the others I'd have to swap out batteries. I'm 99.99999999% sure that I want a regulated device (safety's sake).

So, do you want to sub-ohm? Do you like a tube or a box? Do you want both VV and VW, or is VV sufficient? Do you want to replace the batteries? Do you want to be able to vape while charging?

It's mostly about defining the parameters of what you want from your gear in order to narrow the search field. I'm in the same quandary as you :) Happy hunting!

I have the Vamo V5. Love it. It is very large though and can be tall depending on what tank you use.

Here's a line up so you can get an idea of the size of the Vamo.
ego style on the left, Stingray, and Vamo on the right.

Isn't the Tesla an old model now? An army of MVP fans is going to pile in with their reccomendation, and getting one will spare you the expense of batteries and charger. So I can't say the MVP is a poor choice, but someone thinking of a Tesla clearly likes the road less travelled. But not an old model, how about the new SVD2?

Well there is no shortage of choices, but only you can decide what is/isn't important to you. I you need a digital read out to see what your settings are the PV has to be larger to make room for it. If you have to have both VV & VW the PV has to be larger to make room for the larger chip set. Bigger battery ....... larger yet. Everything comes at a price, so figure out what you need/don't need, and then look for the PV that best fits your needs.

Some folks like mechanicals, others VV or VW. Some could care less, they just want it to vape.
For what's it's worth, I can tell you that the Silver Bullet was my first truly great PV, but you will still need about two bucks to buy a cup of coffee.

The Tesla never became a popular model. I can't say why because I was never interested in one. The Vamo has been more popular, but its made by several different manufacturers and can have varying degrees of quality control. A notorious history of weak 510 threads and breaking buttons. But, this is a cheap mod so you're gonna get what you pay for.

The MVP2 is a better mod if you can accept the form factor.

I have only been vaping for less then a month and started with more less what you started with Livin. I purchased a Vamo because it was suggested to me by a good friend on Facebook. I got it and loved it. It blew the 650 mAh eGo out of the water. I liked that I could adjust the voltage on it and this gave me a good idea on how much better my vaping experience could be. With that I had to buy a better tank so I went with a Kanger Protank 2 and I thought I was set. Then I started reading everything about the iTaste MVP 2 and it just kept nagging at me until I finally purchased one to see what all the hoopla was about. Well I now have it and it is my primary go to when I am at home vaping. I reach for the Vamo when I am to lazy to change tanks on the MVP. Dont get me wrong, the Vamo is an excellent vaping device as well but with the MVP, there is no need to change batteries when they get low and it is compact, light and it will tell you how many times you puff on on it.

I did not want to get a box mod at first but again, after hearing all the raves about the MPV, I had to give it a try andnow I am glad I did.

    Hope this helps some.
