Looking for a second PV

Yeah.. I have heard about the Provari. As much as it's mentioned it must be very good, or highly overated. Looking at the reponses so far in this thread I don't see alot of Provari post and mostly Vamo. So I am going with the thought that those Provaries are overated

Honestly, both statements are true. They are very good--probably still the best--but they are also overrated by (some) overly enthusiastic owners. They are also the most expensive and haven't been upgraded in a long time. Version 3, offering an OLED screen and variable power (and maybe a 510/eGo threading) is long overdue.

Question on the gripper... Do you actualy "grip" this thing when you hit it? Or just use the tips of your fingers while holding it? The reason I ask is that the box type bodies don't seem that comfy to use.

I was of the same thinking, I couldn't imagine why anyone would pay $180+ for a ProVari when you could buy 4 other mods for that much...

That was until I bought one quality build, lovely device to use

sure you'll get the same out of a vamo but you will always wonder what the ProVari would be like and why so many people rave about them

Either way, its all about budget and personal preference so you can't go wrong with whatever makes you happy

And that was repairable, one week turn around. What do you want to depend on?

Actually the Provari fires in VV mode while the Vamo fires in VV or VW mode. From a former Provari owner. Like the Vamo VW but REALLY enjoy the easy to navigate menu.

There are lots of good PV's to choose from, and everyone has their favorite. Some will say VW is the only way, others will say VV is the way to go, and just as many will say get a mechanical. Bottom line is there really isn't a right or wrong, it's just whatever floats your boat.

Personally I think that there are three PV's that have stood the test of time, and stand head and shoulder above the rest.

If you don't mind complicated 1 button menu's and want the most reliable and well built VV mod, I'd say provari of zmax.

I hate when people call the provari menu complicated. It only takes a few minutes to learn how to use, after a day or two you breeze right through it as fast as you can click, and after a few months you can use it with your eyes closed.

The provari is good, but it only offers vv, and it's $200+. I'd go with something that has vv and vw.

Even though I don't own a Vamo, at the price, it seems like you can't lose.

I personally like the look of the Sigelei ZMax V3 flat top, so I ordered one of those. It's a little more than the Vamo though.

It is close to $200 yes, but considering that most of us have spent tens of thousands of dollars on cigarettes in our life time, I never hesitate to suggest that someone makes a one time purchase of something high end and that will last.

The Tesla in Black, VV, VW, light weight, nice feel to it, one piece of solid aluminum, buttery smooth threads, very clicky buttons, nice screen day and night, and a spring loaded center pin that solves all the connection issues, runs on 18650 Flat Top Batteries, not Button Tops as you wont be able to screw the cap all the way down, trust me i tried.... Totally love mine more than my SS Vamo V2 and other mods i have. Just my opinion.. Got mine from VaporAlley for $69.00
