I'm using a 510 manual batt and I've tried Bauway 1.8 LR cartos, "regular" boge cartos, cartridges on my "standard" 510 atty, Blu foam mods, the 510 tank carts, and dripping.

Im using 24mg PG liquid. I seem to get the biggest TH from the LR cartomizers, but that dies off after 3 or 4 drags. I have to wait 3 or 4 mins to get that desired TH the next time.

Dripping tastes the most flavorful, but I don't get that much TH. And I seem to go go thru tons of juice with the tank cart.

I don't mind dumping the 510 and starting fresh with a new system. Do you have recommendations on a setup for big, consistent TH?

Thanks

If you need the throat hit and a 1.8 Ohm atty on a standard 3.2v battery does not do it, then there are only two choices.

1-Higher Voltage
2-Higher Nicotine

Since power is heat and heat hit the throat and lungs, raising power is an effective method. P=VV/R Power in Watts is equal to voltage squared divided by resistance in Ohms. With a 510 battery you have a loaded voltage of about 3.2v, so with a 1.8 Ohm carto you have about 5.7 Watts. Some folks find their "sweet spot" between 8-10 Watts. (I think you may be one of those folks.) So if you went to a 5 volt mod, you could use a 3 Ohm atty or carto and get 8.3 Watts.

The other option, nicotine, is less expensive as it only requires trying a bottle of 36mg/ml to see how it does for you. It will not fix your flavor drop off issue IF you continue to use your PV the same way. The flavor drop off is likely due to wicking, or slow wicking, which is why you have good flavor at the beginning, but as you continue to crave nicotine and drag again and again, the flavor drops off until you let it sit for a bit and let the juice get fully wicked to the coil.

Hopefully this helps.
