I don't mind genuine or not-genuine ego batteries, i own both and i must say other than the joyetech logo, i can't see any difference in performance or quality. same time to charge and discharge.

Ego is not a brand but a class/ style of PV:
JoyTech eGo fires @ 3.3 volts
Kgo fires @ 3.7 Volts
smok tek eGo fires @ 3.7 volts
I own both JoyTech eGo and Kgo and notice the diff.

Welcome! A quick and easy e-cig to pick up would be the Volt from somkeless image. Something a little more involved, (Variable voltage / wattage, big battery mod) would be the Vamo. A bit of a learning curve would be involved w/ the vamo, but if you're looking for a cig-looking mod, that you don't need to last multiple days without recharging, the Volt is a great choice. It's what got me hooked after using countless crappy e-cigs. Good luck!

Also a super easy to use, decent battery size mod would be the ego-c twist, or k-go VV. They're both variable voltage, but not super big like most mods, and last me most of the day.

the KGO vv (original vv) is like a 650 or 950 mAh battery while the KGO vv v2 is the 1100 mAh battery. They are about the same size in thickness and also in length. If I remember correctly from Hoosier, the original KGO vv is like $22 (usd) and the KGO vv v2 (1100 mAh) is about $28 (usd).

I'm not sure if recommending websites is against the rules, but I got lots of info from NicFitNation
I'm in Ontario, so didn't want to ship almost all the way across the country. We have local shops here that carry Joyetech.

I'm under the impression there is at least one store that caters to the ecig crowd in Vancouver. It might be worth a road trip...?
I take the train to downtown to shopping and it's an almost all day gig. Nice to have face to face info for my addled brain. ;)

Liquids been ordering online from Canadian vendors.

Thank you so much everyone, Katya & Julopy, please don't think we Canadians are argumentative, I know what Vapoor eyes er meant, Canadian Government isn't very happy about E-cigs, they would rather keep us addicted to the analogs and paying all those taxes and advertising nicotine products is forbidden. A carton of analogs here in B.C. is about $97.00, so while I really do want to be a wise shopper, I am willing to pay for quality. MKbilbo, I think I also prefer vapor over throat hit, so I must also be a little strange. Also gjanderon, I really like your idea of a pass through for the USB port at my desk, I do accounting from home so I spend a lot of time at my desk. I just can't get over how nice everyone is. I also have to ask a dumb question, when I reply here does it count as a post?

Welcome back! Yes it counts as a post; only posts in the Outside and some chat threads do not count!

Hey, some of my best friends are Canadian! ;)

If you've a home office and spend a lot of time on your computer, a pass through is great. I only use batteries when I need to run errands or such. Just make sure to use a powered USB port. Like on the computer itself or a powered hub. Plug into a USB port on a keyboard or some such and your computer will have tantrums. :)

And if you like vapor as I do, you'll want to try the liquids with more VG than PG. I'm getting nice vapor off 50/50 liquids (half PG, half VG) and also tend to like 100% VG liquids. But you'll have to sample liquids and see what you like. Lot of personal preference and subjective taste in all of this. Which is nice I think. Lots of choices and options.

Dunno if Canadians are argumentative but grandpa was stubborn as a mule. He was from Winnipeg. Though I hear the proper pronunciation is "Winterpeg". :)

If you want the eGo either one of these is far better value. The older "tank" system (cartridge+ atomizer) is prone to leaks. Here are some better prices on eGo starter kits with superior delivery systems (holds and vaporizes the juice) for $50.00

I think you should get at least one vv battery Twist or Spinner); then you can try any head on it. If you like the eGo-C atties, you can just get them a la carte, without the batteries. They work OK, but there are better choices, IMO. My main complaint is they tend to mute the flavors a bit... I prefer Type A (cone shaped).

I really think you should try different things, just one of each, to figure out what YOU like best.

Good luck!

Vapoor to the rescue! :)

Bye SaSmith! You're in good hands!

(I don't really like Stardusts... Just saying... Any clearo with changeable coils would be my recommendation--T3, T2, eVod)

I feel your pain... :D

Yes, at some point you'll just have to order something! Play with it for a while and take it from there. That's how we all started. Trial and error. There is no other way; we can only recommend what we like--you have to find your own bliss!

I like the kit that comes with a T3 also.

Get some extra heads for the T3, maybe another 1.8Ω and a 2.2Ω one. They should work fine on your eGos.

Good luck!
