Hello, I am reaching out to find suggestions on dual 18650 battery mod. Right now I use the Kangertech 70K box and I'm tired of throwing my money down the drain because everyone I buy has stopped working!!

I have no need to make changes to it. Just want to set it and forget it. I found that the eleaf Invoke 220W TC Box mod is of interest but first wanted to see if anyone has suggestions first.

Must Have includes:
1) wattage starting at 1
2) lock on buttons
3) light & small
4) battery life

Help is much appreciated

Segelei Fuschai 213 Plus

The Segelei is a rugged and attractive mod. I had mine, used as a backup, for several months until I sold it to an admiring friend who needed a mod. I personally prefer smaller, single battery mods. One nice thing about this mod is the screen. It monitors both batteries separately by voltage, and then has the battery icon which displays the battery life of both batteries combined. I'm not sure what this mod's finish is but it doesn't scratch.

Agree with @Baditude on the Segelei Fuchai 213 Plus (although it only goes down to 10W same as all my newer Sigelei gear does). I don't have one, but do have 2 of their Fuchia Squonk mods, and 2 of their dual series batt 213 TC mods.

Do they hold up? They all have for me. I bought my first Segelei gear almost 6 years ago (mech 18XXX tube and a first pre order ZMAX V5 VV/VW). Never had any issues with them, still have them and they would still work perfectly but have not been used for years. Fast forward and I've had the Sig 213 dual series batt TC mods since June 2016, used them a lot the first couple of years... they are still sitting here on my desk and see some use when I am on the computer. I have had the Fuchia Sqonks since Dec 2017, and they are still in my daily rotations running mesh RDA's.

EDIT ADD: The Sigelei 213W TC's like mine are still available from several vendors (and for lower prices from some than the $70-$75 I paid way back then).

Older pics of all of them... the Fuchai run Profile Mesh RDA's now (instead of these 2 DMP's that are on them), I drip DMP Mesh RDA's on the 213 TC's now days (instead of the VV Mesh and Goon in the pic).

Also ran RDTA's on the 213's the early years. Favorite RDTA's on them was Geek Vape Avocado 24's (not these 25's)

Rugged, light, and small is limiting for dual battery mods. The current ruggedness champion for dual battery mods is the ageis legend. It’s neither small nor light though. There is a version called the ageis limited edition that IS light, it actually floats, but is no smaller.

Agree on the Invoke. You won't beleive how small it is. Paired with two brown 3000 mah LG lasts me for a full day.

Thank you for the suggestions! I have looked up the suggested devices and unfortunately they start a 5w and higher. I do really want one that starts at 1w and it's going to really limit my choices.
Can I ask why? If you already addressed this I apologize. I don’t think anyone uses any power below 5w. Not saying they don’t, I just don’t know anybody.

Why? It’s not going to be able to vape anything below about 5w anyway. You’re probably going to want a DNA based mod then, so you’re looking at a Benjamin or more.

May I ask why? What atomizer that you will use will work with under 5 watts? o_O

Not many devices that I can think of that are able to go down to 1 watt. Outside of what has been mentioned, there is also the Wismec Reuleaux RX GEN3 Dual (or Triple if you want a 3 cell device). With the RX GEN3 you can also install the Articfox aftermarket Firmware which allows for a little more flexibility and on computer convenience with adjusting your settings.

Coffeelovin86, what oil exactly are you wanting to vape?
It’s not oil. There isn’t a drop of oil in it. Or shouldn’t be. Real oil is actually dangerous to vape. That’s why it’s called juice. Not that accurate a term either I suppose.

bombastinator, we don't know if op is wishing to use (Edited : Not a topic for ECF) . As I'm assuming that's possibly what they're asking about, but I may well be wrong.

But there are (Not a topic for ECF) products that can be added to e liquids though, and you don't necessarily need a special tank. Just one that can wick the liquid well.

Ah. That’s where you were going with that. Still doesn’t explain why he wants a dual battery mod that works at under 5w. I can vape all day on a dual battery mod at 8w and the thing still lasts 2.5 days. Still an oil is an oil. It is considered less of a problem with that stuff only because of the dramatically reduced volume.

bombastinator, a Smoant Battlestar would be more than ample for the job then.

1-200 Watts
TC and TCR
VW

All you need a a decent simple mod and can be got for a reasonable price, especially if got from fasttech.

And I totally agree with your opinion on oils, as they will gunk wicks and coils quicker.

And, also. If the OP is wanting to vape CBD, it can be done using TCR / TC / Temperature mode. So you could get the best results, just use the relevant boiling point as your temperature setting.
