Hi everyone, first things first this it my first post and I am a new member.

I have had a Aspire Sky Star Revvo kit for about 6 months now and am looking for a new kit (or mod and tank combo). I use it daily going through about 2-5 tanks a day of juice (6ml-15ml). Looking to switch it up and get a new setup. What do you guys recommend?

This vaporesso polar kit looks pretty sweet. Vaporesso makes a good mod and I’ve heard good things about the cascade tank plus I like the design of the tank.

I haven’t used this kit but it should be nice. If I was going to recommend a mod I’ve used it would be the Smoant Cylon. Great mod, I love everything about it. Just a really good mod. Best of luck with your search.

I think I probably can't recommend a setup that is going to work for you. I will say the Vaperesso Cascade tank gets good reviews. I have a couple mods from Vaperesso, and I like them a lot although most tanks were a bit to sub0hm for me. Otherwise, the Crown Uwell Original and if you can't find it, the Crown Uwell 3 might be a decent option. Lots of resistance options especially with the original. It's a well designed tank.. I do recommend the Smoant cylon a lot, it's a pretty fantastic mod and should meet your wattage needs. I don't know anyone that dislikes it.

Other mod makers I like that may not break the bank Teslacigs, (very durable mods) and I just won a Geekvape legend, that may be a setup worth checking out. The tank, again wasn't to my taste that much, but the mod is fantastic, and you might like the tank it's pretty sub0hm. The Legend is marketed as shockproof, waterproof and has been tested out quite a bit, it genuinely is DURABLE.

Given how I treat my mods, I can't wait to drop it to see what happens. OF COURSE I haven't yet. LOL.

Good luck and most of all welcome to ECF.

You won a legend!!! Lucky, it is the one mod right now that I really want but my Cylon is perfect so I can’t justify buying it. I already have backups so I can’t use that excuse either. I just love mil-spec durable stuff. I keep my flip phone for way too long because it was Mil-spec tough. Anyways that’s the mod I forgot to recommend to you. It seems to perform good, from what I’ve heard, and it is the only mod, besides the aegis, that’s mil-spec durable. And the only dual battery mod which I consider a prerequisite. So there ya have it, all good mods just pick one.

I have the vaporesso revenger mini with the NRG tank and Ceramic coil. I absolutely love it. I have tried so many over the years and I liked this one so much I bought a second one :)

You sound like me! Started w the Revenger mini loved it but needed dual batteries so bought Revenger X. Now I have 5 of those lol! I love the Revenger series. Great mods imo and do TC as good as my DNAs and Yihi imo from my vape experience.

What do you think of a smok tfv12 prince tank on the cylon?

I think the Cylon would handle it just fine. And, although I don't sub0hm, I WILL say that the tfv12prince tank gets pretty good reviews from its users. If I had to vape a smok tank ,well, it might be that one.

Match made in heaven if you ask me. I've got an Ares on mine and it is.... sublime.

But, I really really like that mod. I'm so glad I accidentally got two because the husband stole mine, he liked it that much too. LOL.

Sometimes my ADHD is useful. I couldn't remember that I bought one from 3FVape, and so I ordered one on Fasttech thinking I didn't do it. SO glad that happened. LOL.

I haven't met anyone who dislikes their cylon, there was one report of a line forming on the screen. That hasn't happened to mine yet and I've dropped it a few times.

Handfeel is so NICE.

There are many other mods worth looking at, probably not carried in a local vape shop. If the have another Smoant mod at a reasonable price maybe check those out? IDK. I've bought TONS of mods without checking them out first (buy my main choices around here are like, Kangertech, too fragile for me, and Smok, too fragile for MOST folks. Etc.

I look after my mod and like no scratches or anything... Don't need a bomb proof mod, just one that can go above 200w as I like powerful subohm stuff.

Then you need a 3 battery mod, or a 2 battery 27-- two battery mod. You cannot find a 2 battery 18650 on the market that is going to ACTUALLY supply that power. The BOARD may say it can be done, but in my opinion it's a bit of a "lie" or at least "advertising that isn't correct." You'll over stress your batteries, your mod, and you won't ACTUALLY be vaping over 200 for LONG. Maybe a few puffs Then your mod will inform you that your batteries need recharging, etc.

A dual 18650 mod cannot supply that power. If you THINK you are vaping at 200plus watts now, I'm here to inform you that you HAVEN'T been. It's kind of like redlining your car, you may not ACTUALLY have a motor powerful enough to go 200 miles per hour, even if the speedometer goes UP to 200. Etc.

Some light reading, kindly do not blow yourself up, for the sake of vapers everywhere, including you:

Best of luck, buy a BETTER mod if you wish to vape that high. And, you haven't yet, not on a Smok mod I'm fairly certain. It may TELL you you are vaping that high, but you actually AREN'T. So be prepared if you do. I think you were having problems with your equipment in your first post, this MAY be the reason why.

Nothing wrong at all with high wattage vaping but safety first.

I really like the eleaf Aster, durable, lightweight, ive dropped lots it still runs used it for around a year its still going. Most the other ones are bulky, and if there not bulky they arent durable. About the only thing i dont like about the Aster is that it doesnt have a real good balance point for standing straight up.
