Vapors--You could use the battery box off of the 801 manual passthough with the inline AAA 3.6v battery. I have been eyeing mine and may give it a go as I no longer use passthoughs--It has room to insert the threading and place a switch.
Here is a picture of it. Expensive if you are buying it just for that purpose--but if you already have one that you are not using, then cost is not a factor--------Sun
What you see in that picture is a double AAA size, not a double AA size.
I put the dollar bill and other e-cigs in the picture to get an idea of size.
Place your AA box next to a dollar bill and compare that to the picture and you should be able to see the AAA size box is actually quite a bit smaller then the AA size box.

Here is a refrence point for the AAA size box compared to a single AAA size box on a passthrough.
It is a 510 passthrough but I am confident that an 801 passthrough uses the same box. I opened them up to show the batteries to help get an idea of size. I know it can be difficult to gauge that from pictures.

EDIT
that picture was crappy, here is a better one...
I really like the 'mini' form factor and that AAA box is about the smallest thing I have found.
There is a mini mag light mod on the forum that looks pretty sweet but I have not yet figured out how to make one with a push button and I am not fond of the 'twist to activate' method since it seems difficult to do one handed.
Vapors--the USP box is not difficult to retrofit--it has a screw that allows you to take it totally apart and a AA 14500 could fit in there. You would have to redo the terminals, but it can be done----Sun
It is hard to tell for sure but looks like it should just make it inside. Thats why I did that shot with the battery next to the box to show the box is ever so slightly bigger than the battery.
