Hi all,
I am looking for some advice on where to go next in my vaping journey. Let me give you a brief description of my vaping history so far.
I smoked analogs for about 3 years, and after getting sick of being yelled at by my wife I decided to try out an e-cig. I can't remember what my 1st ecig was called, but it was a very crappy one, and I ended up losing it anyways. After that I bought the Blu cig kit which is a pen style e-cig. I liked it at 1st, but soon grew to hate it because the tips were so expensive, and I would go through one of the little boxes in a day! I started dripping into the tips, but then realized what a pain it was to have the batteries constantly die.
After this I did more research, and bought a 510 kit. I liked that a lot, but using the standard cart with an atomizer really sucked, and I tried different mods for the carts to improve it, but those led to leaking issues etc. Finally, cartomizers came out and I really enjoyed those, but my battery died a lot, and I would end up buying a pack of cigs when my batteris died.
Finally I have recently bought some ego batteries, and they have been amazing with boge cartomizers, but I am starting to see some small problems with it. My biggest issue is that when I get a pack of cartomizers usually 1 is a dud, and 1 is what I would call 1/2 a dud, where it doesn't last very long. Usuually what ends up happening is that I am using my last cartomizer that tastes burnt while I wait for the next box to arrive.
I have tried dripping directly into a 510 atty, but I find it to have a very hard pull on it, and within a few puffs it tastes nasty (even after cleaning it). I also just bought an eGo T tank, but within a few days the coil was dead. It was producing less and less vapor each day, and finally it didn't produce any. I watched a video, took it apart and the coil was no longer producing any heat. I also didn't like the eGo T because 1/2 the time it tasted burnt.
So without any cartomizers or the eGo T, I have been using my old Blu cig, and now that I've found greener pastures, this thing is really terrible. I did figure out though that the atomizer of the Blu cig does fit into the eGo battery, so that has helped some.
My question is where should I go from here? Is there a better atomizer that I can use to drip at home, and then maybe just save my cartomizers for car rides and school? I've also been looking at the tank cartomizers such as the one form here Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer, 3.5ml
I would ideally like something that I don't have to constanly throw away, but so far I haven't found anything better than cartomizers.
Should I chose one of those hybrid atomizers, or a LR debridged? I've been reading these forums all day today, but I just cant figure out what to get, and I don't want to waste money on junk.
