Hey guys, I've been using electronic cigarettes for a couple months now (sure made quitting analogs easy!) and I'm looking to get a variable voltage cig now. Right now I have an Ego-T and an Atmos 510 (rebranded and overpriced joyetech 510, purchased before I knew better) that I'm using with a Kanger Protank. I've been really looking into the Lambo Tube. Anyone have any experience with it? Hows it pair with the Protank?

I have an Evic, VAMO, and Lavatube. They are all great choices.

My Evic Cap has fallen off a few times and required to re-solder. Other than this, I like the weight, screen, and ability to charge with usb.

The VAMO is heavy and feels like a tank. I notice that after I release the button it still fires for a short time.

I have only had the lavatube for a short while and think its great.

Really all very good options. If you can find a B&M i would try some of these devices first.

What about a Twist or Spinner. That way you can play around without investing too much$$. If you like the VV, then when you get a bigger device, you can still use them as a back-up.

I know if I buy a twist or something like it I'm going to end up rebuying something better. I'd rather spend more money now to get what I really want and avoid buying twice.

Get a Sigelei Stainless V3 ZMAX Telescope Variable Power. Goes for as low as just under $70.00. Will work in VV variable voltage or VW mode Variable voltage. It will work with a single 18650, one or two 18350 or one 18500 IMR batteries simply by twisting the telescopic body. Now extra tubes to have or buy it is telescoping. I have one in vape mail right now. Can't wait to get it. Exhale vapors has it for $64.98 you just missed the fathers day discount that brought it down to $55.23 but the $64.98 is a good price too. If I had to use one out of my Provari, Vamo or this I would use the Zmax flattop. VW mode is handy as you don't have to do the math as volts are only half the equation. Watts control the vape and is voltage squared divided by ohms. Believe me I like the VW option best.

It's really hard to beat bang for the buck with a VAMO. Fast Tech has an excellent deal on a stainless steel VAMO kit for the budget-minded, Vamo-Vivi Stainless Steel Voltage Adjustable E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic 18650 batteries. The price is $53.33 and after using the coupon code CPASTE13SPRING it would be $50.66.

Unlike all the other VAMO kits I've seen the charger and batteries in the Fast Tech kit are of excellent quality.

Fast Tech ships out of Hong Kong so you have to wait a week or two for your VAMO to arrive.

 for peraspera's Post # 14. Problem is it's VERY large but is the best PV I've ever used and/ or owned and has both VV and VW. I use the Vamo at home and for out and about I use the VV Spinner.
This will give you idea of the size- with 18650+ Vivi Nova= 8". With 18350+ Vivi Nova= 6".
PB is using V1. V2 has a larger spring and no rattling.

Decide what are your priorities in a battery. Do you want variable power? Do you want the longest battery life? Do you want the smallest/Stealth packaging? Do you want colors? What are you going to use as a topper? Do you need ego cone threading? Think about these things first, prioritize them. If you want all of them, then a vv/vw kit with tubes or telescoping may be right for you. Get the Sigelei V3 for best flexibility. If you want colors, try the anyvape CVI or the Sigelei mini. If you want the least expensive model with all the above, but not in colors, choose the VAMO. If you are like me, you'll eventually want and may even collect all of them. You can buy three or four of these suggestions for the price of a provari. If durability is the most important, definitely consider the provari. If tech is the requirement, try the eVic. See, it's what YOU want in a battery that will guide your selection. No one setup or device will satisfy me. I use several during the day, including my twists/spinners when I'm out, and I love all of them. The journey is what keeps it all cool for me. I think I love the gear as much as the vaping, and I love the vaping. So decide priorities and budget, it's relatively easy after that. Remember, there is no answer to the question, "what is the best pv?" It's subjective, and unique to each user. If my budget were $50, then the VAMO. If $75, then the Sigelei V3, Sigelei mini, or anyvape CVI V1. If $100, then the NEW eVic or Sigelie V2. If $200, then two or three of those and if $400, then a provari and two or three of the others. Fixating on the my wish list items has been instrumental in keeping me vaping and off smoking....and that's the real bottom line. By the way, I have everything I recommended. There a dozen clones for everything mentioned as well. Be careful also. The lesser expensive units are not as durable. If you can only buy one pv in a lifetime, then the provari. But that's silly. You'll likely buy many as new ones are coming out all the time. Like another poster mentioned, go see them yourself. My favorite is not the most expensive or the least expensive, it's the Sigelei V3. In a few months it'll be something else. Six months ago it was the eVic (no durability - lost two). You like what you like and there's no accounting for it sometimes. It is what it is. Good luck! The search is at least half the fun.

Thats another thing thats confusing me, It seems like some people are referring to the Lambo tube and the Lava tube like they are the same thing?

That's because a L-Rider by any name is still an L-Rider. Vendors can call a PV anything they want, there is also the Cylon. Still made by L-Rider.

I'm more confused on what to get now than I was before! Lol. Anyone know what the most durable between the Lambo, Zmax, and Vamo? I had heard the Lambo was built pretty solid, I know the Provari is tough but I can't afford it right now.

The Lambo does not have VW while both the Zmax and Vamo does. I find VW to be highly convenient and have no interest in any PV without it but some people are quite content living within the limitations of VV.

I chose VAMOs over a ZMAX because the VAMO's three button menu system is fast and easy while the single button one for the ZMAX would drive me straight round the bend. Again, the ZMAX menu system doesn't bother some people at all.

If you start with the SS VAMO kit from Fast Tech you ore only out about $30 once you subtract the value of the batteries and charger should you not care for the VAMO. That's cheap tuition money to learn exactly what you like and don't like in a PV. The VAMO can also always serve as a solid backup should you decide you want something else.

If you find that the convenience of VW isn't important to you I would suggest that you save for a Provari rather than buying the Lambo. The Provari has the best build quality for a VV PV. If you want similar quality in a VW device the only option at this point seems to be a DNA 20 box mod although there is DNA 20 tube mod that may become available in the next few months, The Cyborg. DNA 20 mods aren't cheap.
