Looking to upgrade my setup!

Hello everyone! As one of my first posts, I'd like to ask a question! I've been vaping for quite a while but aside from my standard vape, I'm pretty offline when it comes to the what's new and hot and such. So, what setup should I get? I have roughly a $150 budget for mod, atty, batteries, charger. I'm more of a rda type of guy, but I can vape whatever honestly.

No reason to be honest. I'm currently running a Dotmod box with a Smok TFV12. The battery is fine, the tank quality could be better (less airflow please). That's my ADV setup. I'm trying to look for something that's more flavor based. I don't how relevant these are nowadays, but a Kayfun, Vicious Ant Kraken, SAT22 is what I'm looking for atty wise.

As for mod, I'm open for suggestions!

I'm sorry. I'm not familiar with mtl and dl vaping. I have the TFV12 and the SOI SZCRDA. Clouds is taken care of. Looking for more flavor please.

Wanting less airflow for my husband I was pointed towards kayfun mini v3 or kayfun v5. I can't comment on it though because it hasn't arrived yet.

Mtl - mouth to lung inhale, less air, more like smoking.
Dl - direct lung inhale, lots of airflow.

The TFV8 Baby Beast gives a lot of flavor, with good clouds, and a bit more restricted airflow than the 12, but it's still pretty open.

Okay. In this case, atomizer wise, I'm looking for a mtl. I'm more than willing to sacrifice airflow and cloud production for 100% of the flavor tasted. Idk about anyone else, but my tongue is pretty used to a lot of the e-liquids out there. Doesn't taste the best anymore.

Flavor tanks, mtl? Merlin mini, Goblin mini 3, Serpent mini (yeah, I know, a lot of minis'). Possible as varying opinion but the Engine nano which is single coil, top airflow, but the air can be cranked way down. Standards also are the KF series, the 3 mini if tight mtl is a requirement, the 5 if more of an airy draw.

Higher end a Squape R (hard to find authentic as discontinued) or the Squape Dream with a single coil adapter (looser draw than the R). Maybe a Rose or Hurricane.

Dotmod mod is an excellent box. If you want something affordable maybe a Smok Alien or a G Priv (touch screen if you like that sorta stuff). If you like temp control, lots of nice DNA mods out there, with something like the 167 Therion being very popular and a great looker.

This is awesome! Thank you! I will go to the local vape shop and see what they have. Worst case scenario, I'll go direct to MFG. I heard some really great things about the Squape and Merlin Mini.

You might want to consider squonking, that's like a rda that's bottom fed from a tank. It's the best of both worlds imo. There's quite a few out now and a lot of threads on it at ecf.

Heard about those! My buddy makes them too! If anyone has ever heard of the Peasant Box Mod? I like the idea of it, but those can be pretty pricey. Are there any reliable, not going to destroy your bank account sort of setups out there?
