Hey guys. I'm relatively new to this whole vaping thing. I tried a while back but we didn't have any stores local to me and now that we have one in town I'm getting back on to vaping. Just in the last week I feel better from not smoking cigarettes. But I'm having an issue. I HATE the eGo-T battery I have and I'm looking to upgrade. Someone let me try their Provari today and omg the difference was ridiculous, but I don't feel like I should shell out the money for a Provari just yet. So I was wondering some of your opinions on the Vamo or if you guys have any suggestions on any other VV mods in the price range. And would the Kanger Protank work well with the Vamo like it did with the Provari I tried earlier today?

I really liked the Itaste vv 3.0 It has a small form factor and is vv vw so it will give you flexibility. Others like the Itaste MVP 2.0 which only costs a little more ($39.99) and has a great battery life. I don't like the box style look of it, but that's just personal preference. Yes A protank would work just fine with a Vamo. I personally think the atomizer is more important than the battery device for flavor.

I'll definitely check that one out. Also, where is the best place to order from?

The Vamo will work with the ProTank just like it did with the Provari. It will also give you a feature the Provari doesn't have (Variable wattage - which is the easiest way to vape once everything sinks in).

My personal preference is the iTaste VTR. I see them on some sites for $80.00. I love the way it feels (It's heavy - about a pound), and it comes with an extender so all tanks can be used with it. It has a tank "cage" that I believe a ProTank fits into. I'm currently using an Ithaka clone on it (With extender), and I can no longer be bothered to play with my genesis attys or other tanks.

Here's a link from the manufacturer: iTaste VTR - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin

The VTR looks awesome! But I'm thinking about getting the MVP for now. I tried one out yesterday and it was awesome. The MVP v2 was just amazing with the Protank 2. I just have no clue on what I want for a tank now. My protank has been flooding/leaking. Lots of gurgling and juice coming up into my mouth and leaking onto the battery. And I changed the heads 3 times and all of them leaked. No clue whats going on there so I'm thinking about getting a cartomizer tank. Theres just so much stuff out there. I dont know what I really want.

I upgraded from an eGo T to the MVP and I'm very happy with the change. 101vapes is great and they have some with designs on ebay Itaste MVP 2 0 Energy Line iClear 16 Kit Brand New from Innokin Free Shipping | eBay if you're into that kind of thing.

If you find a good tank solution, let me know. I feel a little like Goldilocks and the bears' porridge when I'm dealing with tanks. The draw on this one is too tight, this one is too airy, this one leaks like a pig, this one tastes burnt.... I just can't wait to find the one that's just right.

Go for the Vamo V2 stainless steel kit...I can't post a link, but if you Google vamo v2 kit with imr 18650 battery you should find the place. Also comes with a Trustfire charger, ego case and two ce4 or ce5 for less than $60... Has VV and vw, checks resistance, and I've been using mine for six months with no problems. I also have zmax v3, eVic, and zmax mini and I still like the vamo the best. If u need all the trimmings, this is my advice.

Man I'm exactly the same way. I'm looking at getting a RSST with a k100 mechanical mod after I get a VV/VW mod like the MVP. I'm pretty set on it after watching PBusardo and GrimmGreen reviews about them. It'll do basically everything I want. It just the damn tanks that I can't seem to get right ever. I tried like 5 tanks the other day, some with air holes redrilled or partially covered and nothing seemed to do the trick for me. Can anyone chime in on an awesome tank to help me and Grad?

Not letting your Protank get more than half empty before topping up helps with that.

I've been eying the Vamo quite a bit lately, it's replaced the Provari on my "must have" list...

The way a ProTank is built, leaks that are getting to your mouth and the battery points to the head - you could have some stripped threads in the base, where you screw the head in (but the o-ring on the head should help there, or you're not screwing the head in far enough, or, your wicks are too small. Are you using new heads, or rebuilding old ones? The only time I've dealt with leaking is when I had really old wicks, or didn't put enough new wick in.

As for an upgrade, take a good look at cartomizers. A Smok tank and some 2.0 ohm cartos is a good place to start, and will work really well on your MVP2.

You could also get into an RBA (rebuildable) with a tank, those work very well on MVPs.

the itaste vv/vw is a nice option. I have one and it's nice and lightweight and can charge while you puff on it. the mvp2 will have the same performance but will last 2 days and 2 nights on one charge and with a 22mm XL tank carto tank you would only have to refill the fluid once per day. I went with baditude's suggestion with ibtanked and got some ikenvape cartos to put in it. I love it. I also have an Aspire Glass bdc 3.5ml tank incoming and cant wait to give it a spin.

I went ahead and picked up the MVP for $65 at a store I found a few hours away when I took a trip for work yesterday. So far I'm LOVING it. I definitely want to try some cartomizers with tanks and all because this Protank just isn't cutting it for me right now. I don't like having to deal with the leaking. I'm using the coil that came with the Protank, they threw in a Protank-II when I got my MVP because the iClear 30 had a dud atomizer and they had no replacements. I kind of want to rebuild using a microcoil and some cotton but I may just wait off on that for a while. No telling. But does anyone know of anywhere that makes some awesome flavors? All the ones I have seem kind of bland and really there's no flavor in it they seem like. Or would it be easier to just go the DIY route? I'm almost down to no nicotine so I'd make some juice without if I went the DIY way. Thanks for all the replies though guys, it's much appreciated.
