Moving Sucks!!!! I to hope it is going well for her.

I know I am in a particulary lousy mood, but just like my experience with attys/cartos/tanks, I have never had a good move. Everything that could go wrong did. When I moved to colorado from New Hampshire, I broke down about 6 hours from my destination had to unpack everything in the middle of the road, to put in a rental and drive back 6 hours 3 weeks later when my car was fixed. Got a complete tune up before I left and the mechanic did not put the cover back on when replacing the transmission fluid, so I was leaking it across the country before it finally blew up.

Moving from Florida to Montana, our 18 wheeler rented uhaul broke down about 5 hours from our destination. When they were lifting it onto the tow truck it fell down breaking pretty much EVERYTHING fragile in there...

So I am hoping Bov's move is a thousand times better then mine.

North Hampton, by Hampton beach. I only lived there for two summers. I was born and raised in NY and during my first year of college (in up state NY) my parents moved to North Hampton. I spent the summer there but when it came time to go back to school, I was no longer a NY state resident and didn't live in NH long enough to be a resident so it occured to me that I could go any where. Threw a dart at a map and ended up at Colorado State University. Graduated 3 yrs later, needed emergency surgery shortly after, so my mother rushed me backed to NH, so I was closer to Mass for my medical needs, that was the second summer, but that one I did not get out as much as the first and I moved to South Florida when I was recovered for work.

The only way I would move again is if it was to a private island island in the south pacific... and if that was the case I would only bring a bathing suite, my husband, my puppies and my PV so it wouldn't really suck that much. But if there is no private island I am with Mist... my kids can fight over my property when I die!

To avoid further derailing the thread I started this in (and to give Bov more to read when she gets back), I ordered parts for a new PC build Monday. New motherboard, cpu, memory and case for a grand total of $303 and change, shipped. It's going to be a sweet gaming PC that I can further upgrade later. I'm also going to rebuild my old PC with the motherboard I have coming for it so my gf can use it. It's going to be her media PC since her laptop isn't well suited for the purpose. The parts for my new build should be here Thursday or Friday. Then I can let this poor, overworked netbook take a break.
