Thanks Mixos- Yeah their site needs a serious makeover. I alomost ordered the $185 one today, but right before clicking the paypal 'pay now' button I decided to drop by here to see if htere had been any updates, and saw the other loong-totem thread talking aobut the bad taste, so I thought I'd just hold off a bit and closed out hte paypal webpage wityhout hittign hte 'pay now' button, and I immediately got a "Thank you for your purchase' email from Loong-totem- I emailed them tellign htem what had happened, and htey said htey'd cancell the order (took better part of hte day ot get email back)- we'll see if hte order was truly cancelled or not- I asked for a confirmation email stating that the order had been canceled, but we'll see if I get one or will just have hteir email to me to go by if any thign goes wrong

Anyway- back to hteir site structure- they really need to have drop down lists on the product page that lets us choose cart strength, flavor, battery size etc before startign hte purchase order- thsee thigns should all be sorted out in the shopping cart bwefore proceedign through the check-out line

I asked in the other loong thread but would liek your opinion- is hte 'burnt plastic' taste pretty strong? Or is it just like "Meh- wish it tasted different, but no big deal"? The other thread they said it was strong in their opinion.

I also noted that the paper in the cartridge you took apart didn't look scorched to me, so I'm wonderign if the taste isn't maybe just the liquid taste that peopel are objecting to- I knowe soem are worried abotu scorchign of cartridge paper/cloth or whatever it is, but again- I didn't see anythign scorched

The burnt plastic taste is not overly strong but enough to be a problem, ive smoked 15 nomral smokes because i cant smoke the v9 due to the taste. The taste has the same smell as the liquid that the paper is soaked in, which makes me think that the liquid is the problem. i dont think it has anything to do with the paper burning. When i get my flavoured carts if the same taste is still present we will know for sure that its an issue with the paper/design.

i squeezed out one of the carts from the other esmoke i have (apple flavour) it made a slight difference. it was quiet easy to fill as all i did was take out the white circle and squeezed it in, so for all of you wondering if they can be refilled the answer is yes, for how much longer the atomiser will last i dont know.

I can't find the GreenCig products actually for sale. Much less experiments done with them. There's some French site that might sell them. I can't tell. I visit GreenWorld regularly, waiting for accurate prices and availability information. But I'm getting less interested in them by the moment.

If the U.S. distribution is by Las Vegas types, take me off the list.

you can buy the G220 at EURO ELECTRONIC and E-cig SHOP - Specialist in electronische Cig's en electronische produkten uit China

too expensive IMO...and so is the loongtotem...and im sure the royalsmoker combi wont be a bargain either.

USA and UK companies dont seem to sell these combis, not that i can find, apart from the charming 51,but its only a matter of time i guess...

the G100 isnt out yet,and the G300 isnt out yet,and theyre probably not going to be cheap either.none of these things are.

Thanks Mixos, yes, please do keep us posted about the taste and whether it improves.

It would be interesting to try to delicately remove (lol- I'm still laughign at your first dissasembly of hte cartridge- that sucker looked tough as nails) the inner guts of one of these (leaving hte contact with the atomizer intact, take hte paper off the wire, wrap some clean paper (or cloth- whatever hte material is) and soak it with some good E-liquid, put it back inside hte cartridge housing, and see if it improves the taste.

I wish I knew more abotu electronics, as I'd liek to try making a conection to hte atomizer, Remove that lousy 'fiber' that the filament wire is wrapped around in the penstyles (I think this fiber is what gives us the awful terrible burnt taste when it starts to burn because of overheating) and rinning a wire the length of my penstyle atomizer housing, wrap the wire in paper, soak it and essentially have the same type of atomizer as the loong. My neighbor was an engineer for a big space technology firm and worked with htese types 'electronics' (minute tiny stuff)- maybe I'll see if he can think of a good way to do this while retaining hte 'microchip' in the atomizer to control the "on/off" air-controlled switch- but was thinking it might even be possible to bypass this microchip and make hte unit fully manual

It doesn't look like it would be too hard to make. I think he "overclocked" his atomizer though by giving it a higher voltage. Not sure though.

Sorry for the late response, but no "overclock" at all!
I used one cigar battery only (is also 3,7 Volt) and a good (Janty) atomizer.
In the box is a space for a spare battery, but for smoking only one is used and a manual switch.
Noting more and nothing less

Mixos: Update us. This is one of our most trafficked threads and it was bumped to page 2! Arrrrgh.

Nothing really to update atm, recieved notification that my cartridges have been sent from china, The unit itself is still very very very good, havent had a problem with it yet, cartridges last forever, always heaps amount of vapour. I throw the cartridges away every 2 days just coz ive got so many that i dont care to waste em, and would rather start with a fresh one. Only thing is that the battery life is abit short, but apparenty the 7.5cm battery has more power then the 5.5cm. once i get the flavoured cartridges i will report back asap, im not sure what flavours im getting i dont really care, aslong as the current taste isnt there, atleast then we know its not the paper thats causing the taste problem.

I also have ordered a kissbox yentl last week, so will be able to give a comparison between these two, to show which one is king.

thanks for the update Mixos...im sure we're all very curious to hear if the flavour change makes a difference.

so how long approx do the two different sized batteries last on average with constant vaping?

Well i only have the 5.5cm version, it lasts about 4-5 hours with constant sucking. so im not sure about the longer model.
