Lorann Bakers Emulsions.....can I use them for DIY?

Princess Cake flavoring, sounds SOOO yummy. They are water soluable... (spelling!). I wonder if I can use these? They are made by Lorann.

According to LorAnns (read here) it contains caramel color. It may work, but it will be damaging to your atty and they won't last as long. I would also question if this may contain diacetyl (scroll down to the safety section). More information is needed from LorAnns, you could write to them and find out if it has diacetyl.

While I didn't try the specific emlusion you link, I have tried them

Great smell, no flavor, the gum in them killed an atty quickly.

Poured out the bottles they came in and use them for other stuff now.

@Hoosier Good catch, didn't see the Xanthan Gum. Much worse than the caramel color.
