In my search today for banana, I was checking the the Lorann's natural flavors line. They have a natural cherry, and I'm wondering if anyone's tried it. I saw a good review on it, but I'm not convinced yet. Cherry is one of those "hard to capture" flavors (unless you like cough drops). To me, they are all horrible, but this gives me hope.

Even Linda at TPA says that in order to get cherry strong enough to taste it in a vaping liquid, the taste goes awry.

Okay, I thing I can say is this was fast shipping. I got the flavors today. I am sure the banana will be divine.

Lorann's natural cherry

Ingredient list: vegetable glycerin, water, grain alcohol, natural cherry with other natural flavors, sugar, citric acid. No added or artificial colors. All flavoring ingredients approved for use by the FDA.

The sugar caused me an immediate panic, but I'm gonna put this through the paces anyway. Curiosly enough, the natural banana doesn't contain sugar.

The flavoring is very syrupy, and it tasted really good on my finger, color is clear to very slight pink hue.

I mixed it at 10% , mixed well and dripped it, just barely a hint of cherry flavor, no chemical taste.

I added to make it a 20% flavoring, tastes lightly of real fruit cherry, no chemical taste at all.

I'm going to let it steep for a few days, drip again and see if flavor gets stronger. I'm also gonna put it in a carto in a couple of days to see how badly the sugar affects things. Maybe it'll be okay...

We may have a winner here.

I've been super busy lately. I haven't put it in a carto yet, so I don't know how it'll affect the atty. I've been dripping a bit with it now and then, and the flavor hasn't changed. There is no bad "cough drop" taste at 20%. Although the flavor is mild, it's good. I know that flavor strength is subjective, I like my flavor on the strong side. I'm going to experiment with it a bit next week.

I've been using that natural banana flavor for more than a year. I bought the natural cherry and strawberry too. I really like the banana & strawberry together. The cherry...I use as an accent flavor. I'm really liking these natural flavorings. I also use some of the natural flavors from Fairies Finest ;)
