Now you're getting it. But it's not me who created the contradiction. It's the people who seem to think that things would be fine and dandy as long as everyone else stays out of the industry, especially Big tobacco. You have just noticed what they have failed to acknowledge. Big tobacco is evil and needs to stay out of e-cigarettes because all they care about is profits, but e-cigarette companies are different because...?

That's not to say that there aren't some very ethical and responsible e-cigarette companies out there that care about the community and have been doing what they can to fight indoor bans and such. I don't want to lump them all in together!

I happily have spent a small fortune since the first of the year when I got into this. After dealing with at least 10 vendors on a scale of more than a few bucks here and there, I have been shown by the majority that they are no different than any large money hungry corporation. At least by now I have found the ones who have products that are worth the money. Now being the owner of a small business myself I know what it takes to make business work. There is a great distance between making it and actually having peoples best interest in mind. As far as fighting bans and the like, I just see that as good business sense with the side effect of appearing to fight the good fight. I like you are a self proclaimed cynic. Now people like yourself and Bill Godshell (sorry Bill if I hacked your name) are, IMO doing something "worth" doing, when it comes to our best interest.
Really the contradiction, IMO, is every company with the exception of most non profits. Business by its very definition exists for one reason. The days of small business integrity are dead and gone, the evil big boxes and corporations have seen to that.

I wouldn't even include many non-profits. Somewhere on the internet there's a site that lists who puts most of their money to the purpose and who puts it to fat salaries and parties.

Have you done business with Johnson Creek? They seem to care about their customers and stand behind their product. I think the thought of that changing is why so many of their customers are worried they're next on the buy out targets.

I have not, but that statement makes sense if thats the case.

I'm pretty sure in this thread it was said that Lor. spoke to them about supplying their juice for Blu. Heresay of course.
Johnson Creek is already supplying Blu, and has been for some time.
That is one of the many things that is so interesting about the recent developments.

And another thing that is very interesting is the fact that Johnson Creek is coming out with an Ego model in a week or two.
I can see Lorillard buying Johnson Creek as a next logical step.

ETA: They also mention a number of times that pre-filled carto's will soon be available. They makes it sound like that's what people want...seems, I'm very out of the loop. 5 packs @ 1ml each.

Some people, especially the ones who come from Blu and like it, want prefilled.

The way they claim the cartos are good for 3-6 refills has me thinking it's aimed at Blu people. 3-6 refills sounds good if you're coming from one prefill, toss it. 3-6 refills to me sounds like a lot of money going through cartos every day.

There's a solution to every problem
Reminds me of "The Godfather" movie

All the problems could be resolved if there was a "sit down"
meeting with all the BP and BT major families.

It would be pointed out that BP owns the FDA, the politicians,
and has the judges in their back pocket. It would be suggested
that BT will run the e-cig business. BT would make BP "an offer
they can't refuse" ... A large and lucrative "piece of the action"

BT will run the e-cigarette business and BP will supply protection.

BP would agree to call the FDA informing them "The Family"
would consider it to be a "personal favor" if they would ....-out.

Just business ... Nothing personal
:)
Love it! Best solution that I have heard for solving our "problem".

Blu doesn't do anything that is not well thought out and professional

Blu didn't get to be #1 in the brand name market because they
are focused on being everything to everyone. Don't look to Blu
to offer e-cigarettes on steroids or any of our hobby preferences.

Blu knows ... The "Key" to helping smokers make the jump is
NOT "get an eGo". Ray Charles (he was blind) could clearly see
that smokers are initially attracted and feel most comfortable
with the familiar analog style PV (period)

Most of us originally switched to vaping with a 510 or a Blu or
some other analog style PV. Vapers not satisfied with their
analog PV can quickly do a search and find alternatives.
Even if they don't find the ECF.

There's reasons why Blu is using Johnson Creek's "Made in USA" juice

On the Blu website I noticed ...

E-juice: Propylene glycol-free (No PG)
Ingredients: Distilled Water, Nicotine, Natural & Artificial Flavors,
USP Glycerine, Citric Acid

Blue doesn't do anything that is not well though out.
So ... Why did they choose VG when other companies
offer both PG and VG?

I'll suggest a few reasons (and I'm sure there are others)
1. Less choices the better ... Simplicity
2. USP Glycerine ... High Grade
3. VG vapor production is better than PG
4. Some people (customers) are allergic to PG

VG does mellow the taste and throat hit
However, Blue knows (what we all know) ... more vapor the better.
All smokers when trying an e-cig are focused on vapor production.

Good PG/VG video: Link

Found a couple interesting USP Glycerine discussions on the ECF
