Kind of makes me wonder if the Kindle was meant to be used that way. I always thought it was just for reading books online? But what do I know? lol

:)
Lol,.
No I use the kindle fire hd's for everything now. I.don't like phones and setting up a laptop is such a hassle.
The kindle controls everything I our house.
We've a new one which act's as a control hub for the doorbell,.security cameras, light switches, thermostats and speakers and I use one of the original American made (Texas instrument) kindles for online stuff.
It's crazy how advanced tech is becoming.

They did not really have too good of pics showing it but I am not really worried about it. Haven't seen 1 I didn't like yet. LOL
And it has purple in it......gotta luv it....
:)

All the pictures depict the color but when you receive a lost vape mod the colors magically change. I doubt there are two exactly the same, which is cool.

I just checked the sight you posted. They show 2 of the purple blaze in stock. I have a black blaze and it is a beauty. Well, make that 1 purple blaze as I just bought 1. Thanks for the link.

:)

I believe you purchased the last new Mirage on the face of the earth. Congratulations:)

I was hoping someone here picked up the last remaining one as the site showed 2 available when I made the purchase. I am surprised to see that it is shipping from NJ. Just received a tracking number and the package is set to arrive Thursday.

:)

Yeah, that would be awesome if they start making them again. I didn't start really using mine at first because I didn't want to 'ruin' a more expensive mod, plus I was new to DNA (esp C)... Preferring to use use my cheaper Espion Solo 21700 on occasion. It wasn't until after the Solo died after some extraordinarily low usage, that I began to explore the Mirage - and therefore the DNA C chipset.

Now I realize that DNA C mods are meant to be USED, not adored or feared! Well, ok - definitely the 1st two. :) The C's cancel the 3rd.

Now I have an Hcigar vt75d, and after falling in love with that form factor - have 2 more on the way, that just arrived mainland today from the slow boat. I went to go order another Mirage to replace the Solo, only to be saddened that they were discontinued.

Oh - and now I also have a Paranormal 250C on the way!! :D

I now figure that I'll primarily *USE* only DNA C (and newer, hopefully bigger-screen) mods from now on, storing my others for the vapocalypse. I'll also probably stop buying cheap(er) Chinese mods, since I may have enough for a good while. I have to think that ordering from overseas will always remain an option.

And good news.. My da*n smok X-cube II finally died - in a very deadly manner, I might add... It started firing on it own without stopping! If I hadn't been awake, or especially at home - it would have been DISASTROUS. After it happened, I kind of remembered it happening once before until cleaned. So I thought - that was it! Tossed! I'm contemplating even tossing my Smok X-cube Mini in case it shares such a disastrous trait - plus that has been another craptastic beater I've been hoping dies soon, anyways. No more Smok for me!

Very scary thing. Same thing happened to me with a vape pen. It was my 1st vape device and I took it out for a stroll down memory lane. Set it up and filled it. Next day it started auto firing as it was sitting on the coffee table. The auto fire shut off “safety” feature never kicked in and the battery started to vent I guess. It was blazing hot. I threw it out the door into the yard. It was too hot to try and get the atty off tho I did try. My poor hands. Scared the bejesus outa me. Thank god I had been home and sitting near it when it happened.

All I could think about and still do was about my dogs and cat and what if I hadn’t of been there. My hearts racing just thinking about it now.

I’m thinking that juice leaked onto the board since the number one reason I hated using it was that it was forever leaking. Probably use error since it was my 1st device but still I expected the auto shut off to work.

Now I don’t take it for granted that any supposed safety feature especially in a mass produced Chinese product will save the the day.

I love the form of the HCigar VT75 too but I’m put off by them because they have NO support at all in my experience anyways. I bought a brand new Warwolf- loved the fit- from a member who got it for Xmas but wanted a dual battery mod. After a month of occasional use the screen went white. Nothing I did could fix it. I tried contacting support and there wasn’t one lol!! I ended up emailing customer service who said they send my email to support- nothing. Did this on and off when bored for 6 months. Never heard back from anyone.

That was last year. I still have the mod hoping some day I’ll find their support department lol!!

That's exactly the first thought that went through my mind.. My dog would be stuck in the bathroom if she didn't go with me. Of course, then neighbors (apartment) and property.

I keep hoping that someone makes a fire proof (or resistant) box to set your mods in. Something to both keep them organized a bit (as opposed to strewn all over various tables), on top of some level of auto-fire protection. As in something that doesn't need to close.

It’s funny you should mention that because after our posts I was wondering if purchasing a tin or metal type of decorative container would be a good idea to put the mods in. Something that would look nice but be fireproof. I’m going to do some looking into it. I’ll see what I come up with.

I'm not building mine til I get back to the apartment as my building stuff is there. Etc. But, I can't wait.
Anna, just load on the International version of the software, and watch a Djlsb vapes video or 3 about the board in the meantime. Anything mod specific is more than likely outdated. :thumb:

I was looking at some sites and they are expecting to ship the Mirage in late March. Seeing is believing.

    Sent from my ONEPLUS 6T

Well it seems as if Lost Vape discontinued the Mirage. Now you see it now you don't. I searched the world with no luck. I need another DNA C and I don't want to buy another Paranormal because of the weight. The Mirage was perfect and went all day long on a 21700 battery. Looks like I'll have to settle for a 18650 DNA 75C. :(

    The only Mirage I have..
I have problems understanding why Lost Vape stopped its production, notwithstanding the market request for more.

This close to an Aegis and a Juul for size comparison:

Compare here with the SL class, the Espion solo, and the Dani 21700 mods:

It is the tallest, but also the lightest...

It was my Espion Solo that died after only ~6 months of intensively light use. It dying was the reason I decided to try getting another Mirage - to use the 21700 batteries I bought for them.
..... Only to find they were no longer available anywhere. :?::(

And no way am I ever getting another Espion Solo - obviously. Matter of fact I'm kinda done with non-DNA 75C/250C + mods for a while, I think.

You're right Hoggy, there are no DNA commercial single battery devices on sale, again can't understand why. 75 W "aren't enough nowadays" I am told. Big lie, especially for MTL and non-mesh DTL. The 75C board is inefficient... another half true story, because all single battery mods have the same problem in terms of conversion efficiency and parasitic resistance.

A possibility is, manufacturers don't bother to setup a production line for a batch smaller than one million or so devices.

I believe the all-resin body of the Mirage - which is slow to produce in comparison with cast or press processes, and the lukewarm reception of the 75W board from the general public have been the true motives why Lost Vape cut the production short.

Now, do I cross fingers and head to second hand marketplace for few more Mirages? I have some 75C spare boards so I can manage a problematic unit. I don't have decided yet.

I'm thinking that's the nice thing about DNA mods.. You can get spare parts separately (or only, if you're a handyman - I'm not) for a fairly long time.

And 75 watts is more than enough for me, so I don't care if it's 75C or 250C. Personally, I think that anyone that vapes at more than 40 watts is doing it wrong. :grr:
