didn't see it mention here so a heads up that according to Todd's review there are two versions; a TPD with 2ml pods and the regular 3ml,so pay attention when ordering if that matters to you.
They can't sell orion 3ml pods in Europe. They changed the law there that no device can have more than 2ml. So if you purchase yours in Europe, that is what you will get.

also i have no idea if it's only the pods that are different or also the device and if they're interchangeable.
The pod mods are the same.

for my part i'm not sure this device is for me,as i always use coils above 1.4 ohm and like a tight draw;
my main tank is a kfl+ and on the prime I'm on its smallest hole and quit the same on the Nautilus.
Todd rates it as a loose mtl,so i hope LV will come with other pods set up that might fit more the definition of MTL.
1.4Ω means no TC coils. That means the Replay feature would become worthless. But you would be surprised that a tiny SS316L coil at .25Ω vapes exactly like a higher ohm coil. But give it some airflow, now it vapes like a .25Ω coil.

And Todd was mistaken (or his pre-production model can't). As you can adjust the airflow from totally closed to totally wide open or anywhere between.

and on a side note, even tough I'm not a "save the planet" kind of person,i find there is a lot of waste going on with those orion disposable pods.
a more durable pod with the option to choose your DT and build your coils would be nice in all aspects.
Who said anything about throwing our pods away? It is called recycling. Many of us are going to rebuild them. :)

Well after two weeks with these things, 4 pods already burned out.
  • 0.5Ω Pods: 4, 4, 6 refills
  • 0.25Ω Pod: 14 refills
In all 4 cases, they burnt out right after refilling. And I thought why would that be? And I thought maybe Replay kicked up the wattage because the wick is probably over saturated. Replay could toss out up to 40 watts at it if needed. That last 0.5Ω pod, I had turned off all boost (0) and put warmth (1) on minimum. And it still burnt out after 4 refills. So I am going to play around with Replay off on one Orion and see if that new pod also burns out early too.

Sorry to hear that... but now you have 4 test subjects for rebuilding! ;)

Here's how I "prep" a new pod, after filling I leave the cap off and close the air off and suck on it till I see a little juice in the chamber.
That's not when they are burning and have already been broken in. They burn after being refilled a number of times and then one refill down the line and poof. :(

I'm still very impressed with the mod. 7th refill on the 0.5 with a Net-Liquid from LaTabaccheria with the 3ml version. No coil ever lasted that much from that Liquid :thumb:
I had a problem after refilling, too. I don't know how, but there seems to be a vacuum after refilling after 5-10 hits and it tasted strange or slightly like a dryhit.
I unscrewed the screw from the filling hole and saw bubbles from the coil emerging. After that everything worked fine. Now I take 2-3 hits after refilling and open the scew again. So far this worked very well for me.

In the future, we will likely see more DNA Go devices from other makers as well. There are certainly a lot of devices using other DNA boards.

Yeap, really want to see something like a Billet Box with rebuildable coils and DNA GO but decent design like a JacVapour or Lost Vape.

Yours arrive yet?

Not yet :( Still waiting for it to arrive; I'm not happy ecigone!!!

Well, add me to the list with wicking issues. I finally found a pod that doesn't leak and worked really well over the past day or so until the first refill and now it appears that there is no wicking going on at all until I remove the cap, take a few hits, and replace the screw. It works for maybe the first 6 puffs or so, then I'm back to square one again.

I'm beginning to think that the Orion just isn't for me. For something that's considered a "premium" product there are too many problems to justify continuing to spend so much for pods. I'll probably use up the remainder of my pods and then move on to something better when they're gone.

Okay, rant over. Sorry to sound so negative but I figured I'd offer my alternative viewpoint for someone who's on the fence about picking one up.
