OK, final note on my experience with the harsh MTL hit on the Orion:

Just watched the P Busardo video and right around the 24-25 minute mark he speaks EXACTLY to what I am experiencing and trying to explain - the harshness of the vape. He even hacks taking a MTL hit at the high-power setting. He says (paraphrase): ...it is like taking an rba and dialing down the airflow to get a tight draw when the rba isn't really properly designed for a good MTL hit.

His opinion and experience, and mine too.

No - not at all. I watched this video because it was linked further back in this thread. Honestly, I find him a tad long-winded and a somewhat tedious, he's thorough to a fault. I don't dislike him but he's not the first reviewer I look to. Nice guy, smart and experienced, just too long and too dry, but in this case it seems he and I are in lock-step.

I'm just a vaper. I like to vape many different ways, though mainly squonking and dripping. The only type of equipment I will not consider owning is any RTA. Haven't had a lot of success with wicking and leaking - just not willing to work that hard.

I vape all kinds of styles but mostly DTL using REOs, Billet Boxes, and tube mechs with drippers. Some of my favorite RDAs for squonking are the Hadaly, Stumpy, and Origen Little-16 - all of which can be used DTL but some may consider them a bit restrictive. I mainly pod when I need a quick nic hit to avoid a cigarette or when I'm out.

I think Busardo is primarily an MTL guy, right?

Chimney mods?

Here's mine. I was using the gusto prior to this, so perhaps a little bias when I say it's leaps and bounds ahead of that. So far, so good!

The pods last too...

I'm glad to see very little negative on this little mod, even after reading all 40 pages of this thread. I've been drooling over this mod since the very first time I saw one. Mine should be arriving on wednesday.
Wait a minute! YOU MEAN TO TELL US YOU READ ALL THE POSTS???? Wow! Hope it lives up to your expectations then, I like well enough the three I have but be forewarned, if you're looking for a tight MTL draw, these aren't it. Hope you like it!

Yeah I did read every single post... I figured for once in my life I would do some research on a mod before I got it rather than just simply succumbing to shinyitis.

The draw isn't going to be a big issue with me. I tend to like fairly airy mtl draws when I do use mtl devices. Before my recent stint with mtl vaping I was a restricted dtl vaper for years. I'm getting tired of throwing pod systems in the trash due to auto firing issues, I figure something with a higher build quality and a button will probably last considerably longer than these cheap little pod mods I've been using.

In that case, you will like it.

Mantis Minimal custom drip tips, very happy! Got a MTL and DL titanium and MTL Damasteel tip that arrived 2 hours ago.

I'm assuming that setup accepts standard 510 drip tips? The Orions drip tip seems to be the one thing that most reviewers universally agree upon as being a con. I Imagine problems with the drip tip falling out would be the one thing that keeps me from carrying it around in a pocket when at work. A loose drip tip in my pocket means that once I fish the thing out of my pocket it will likely be full of drywall dust, saw dust, or some other kind of unpleasant foreign matter.

My Orion should be here this afternoon. I think I'm more exited about this little guy than my first mech mod, and that was a pretty big deal at the time.

These are custom drip tips specifically for the Orion, the DL also allows you to tinker with the AFC. They are about as secure as typical 510 drip tips. They are not as snug as the standard press fitted drip tips the pods come with which require needle nose pliers to pull off.

Either a pair of pliers or a "strategic" drop on the kitchen tiles or the driveway.....don't ask!

If i would have a christmas wish...

ODIS Design - Bringt out the RBA unit and make it leakfree :)

@All - can someone with a Facebook account please check if there is an update. Thank you!

I checked in on it yesterday evening and as far as I can tell there is no information on the rebuildable pod. Also looked through their store, not a thing for the orion.

Edit: There was one single post I found today from about 5 weeks ago stating that they have a working prototype. That's about all I know.
