I don't get the fiber in the middle, is that part of the wick or separate?
.....
Dont like the way it digs in my lips and being metal, its freezing cold when im out an about.Just out of curiosity, why don't you like the metal cap?
whaaat? Didn't hit any buttons and it posted?
Oh I've been thinking of how for weeks. And I think one way would be to pull the whole drip tip and rest out of the pod leaving you a larger hole. Then knock out the two contact pins that should free the coil and wick. Then pull it out. Then coil a wick and leave the legs very long and have the coil vertical with both legs facing down. And I believe you can fish those two legs through the contact holes. Now you can pull them from the other side and pull the coil/wicking in. The coil has to be far enough from the plastic to not to burn it. Then reassemble.I think I give up rebuilding this. The coils last very long and a rebuild just seems impossible at the moment.
That sounds about as easy as pulling your own tooth.....thru your noseOh I've been thinking of how for weeks. One thing I could contribute to the knowledge base is that the plastic part of the drip tip comes loose
I'll venture to say you are right. It would be nice to see a pod with a "removable" window, in the lines of the tanks used in the Billet Box.Yes but the rest of it can be removed from the pod. As I have seen pics of someone who did and it is just a press fit. So you are left with a hole in the pod.
as i suspected and as some said here;the pod needs a redesign to suit more MTL.
also i don't think they'll make higher resistance pods because that would mean that new and old units will have to go through Escribe configuration again and since it's a pod system mainly designed for beginners, they would not expect those to go through it in the already sold units.
I don't understand why people think it isn't tight enough. You can turn the airflow and have it totally closed off (slot facing the fill port). You can not suck anything though it period. You can't get any tighter than that. And you can adjust it totally closed to wide open or anything in between.I just don't think this will suit my need for a tight MTL, especially since Phil likes it more open for me. Too bad, it's a really nice unit otherwise.
