Hello, hello everyone!!!

It's been so very long since I've posted, that it actually feels foreign to me, but I'll get over it.

So much to say, don't know where to start!

Mike, so sorry about your health dilemma! Seems like a never ending battle trying to figure out what the problem may be............hopefully, this new diet will resolve the issue;

Janet & Mike, your grandchildren have grown to be such beautiful young boys! I remember them as being small tots and it's amazing how time flies!

My grandchildren are 19, 17, 1 5, 10 and 8. My son and daughter-in-law have truly blessed our family.

Peter is gone 4.5 years now, and time does make it more tolerable and I've adjusted! Abby (my dog) is a true joy for me. She originally was Peter's dog, but we have bonded and she is now mine!

Sorry about David! When I frequented Facebook years ago, I would always see his posts.........

Kay is gone and when I heard about her passing, it made me feel sad, and I think about her and the good times we shared together.

It was 32o here this morning, and we continue to have a cold spell.........my plants on the lanai are not frozen, but they sure don't look too happy. Probably because they are all in the ground.......I have very few in pots. Working in the garden has decreased quite a bit in the last few years.......I have my usual lawn guy for 18 years now, and I've hired a grounds keeper for maintenance. Spring will be here before you know it.............c'mon Spring!!

Torey, girl, it's been ages! Congratulations on your new beau and a diamond ring for Christmas!!!!! That's what I'm tawkin bout!! :) :)

.My routine is simple. Still bowling, but have to take a respite from it due to a spasm in my leg that is stubborn and am in PT!

Will make the effort to post more often, till then, stay well and a Healthy and Happy New Year to each of you!

I hope everyone has a new year filled with joy, good health and peace!

We're having our usual dinner of pork. Gotta skip the sauerkraut this year so I'm making pork chops on a bed of potatoes and sauce and salad or green beans. Anybody here have special New Year dinners? For luck and prosperity our family has always eaten pork.

We actually stayed awake for midnight last night. I can't imagine hanging out at Times Square all day waiting for the ball drop. It was way too cold and there's no potties! Guess sales of Depends was robust.

We woke up to 23o and a coating of snow outside-surprise! Looks lovely and the roads are clear for people heading home from last nights parties. I tossed out some extra bird seed for our feathered friends this morning and the water tray has done its job so the water is not frozen for them. We're just going to hang out here today and enjoy the 1st day of this new year.

What a nice start to the new year, hearing from an old friend. So good to have you drop in.

Not sure what made me wake up and how I knew the elec went out, heard a click and it was just too quiet?

I bet it was the quiet. I listened to the radio all night, and Dad always had the TV on. When our power went out, we would both wake up. Hope I did not just jinx myself. Been a long time since that happened. Glad it was back on when you got up.

Thanks. Since my last boyfriend passed away and this one had to have a pacemaker, I guess I need to be careful.

It is January, and I am perspiring! That just is not right. In the 70's today. Sheesh!

Well, I loaded up the back of Dad's truck, and it is ready to go to the thrift store. I saved out stuff that I think some of my friends would like. I am just going to put it in the trunk and let them pick what they want. Sort of like a mobile yard sale where everything is free. I love giving stuff away to people as long as they appreciate it.

Perry got home, sat down in the recliner, and was asleep instantly. I'll wait as long as I can but I am a bit peckish. We are having leftovers. I am too tired to cook. I never got to the grocery store today, so I asked Perry to bring home some milk. First time that has happened in 615 days.

Before we moved we had a nice guy come to do some repairs on our house and while he was there Mike kept giving him stuff to help clean out the garage and basement. The final day the guy came with a trailer that Mike filled up. The guy was happy and Mike was happy and I was thrilled!! It was wonderful to see all that open space with so much stuff cleaned out!! Giving it away or selling it is a definite win-win situation.

Wow, 615 days before you asked him to bring home some milk? Ummm, come on girl, you can do better than that! :thumb:
