Well - I should have said up to, but yes, most of the time up to 90 days or once even more. It's just one of the benefits of using Unflavored Nic e-liquid w/Koolada and keeping the tank full. As I posted before, I do have a few mods that I currently use in rotation, however I have been keeping track of which one had new & fresh coils inserted and when they were put in the tank (the timing is a little different for used cleaned coils) . This is the same no matter which tank I use - Zenith/Zlide/Prism. AND - Yes, although I smoked 2 1/2 - 3 PAD (sometimes 4 depending on mood and situation), it seems I "chain" vape (take a few vapes every 5-10 minutes) and still use very little e-liquid . . . I use Unflavored 24mg NIC 50/50 and approximately 5-6 ml every couple of days. And - If I am using all 4 mods and tanks I fill the the Endura Prism Tanks every couple of days and with the Adept w/Zlide / Cool Fire IV w/Zenith usually 5 - 6 days before I refill them . . . Which I think totals approximately 20 - 24 ml of e-liquid a week . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Janet and I go through about 55-60 ml a week of flavored but pretty clear juice. Even rotating a couple Zeniths I don't think we could ever come close to 90 days per coil.

Also ... how are you cleaning them? And do the 'taste' OK afterwards. We've just been chucking them at replacement time.

After using Honey, my total for a pack of coils and the tank was ::

Innokin Zenith Replacement Coils
1.6 ohm
$ 10.88
Innokin Zlide 4ml MTL Tank - Black1
Black
$ 15.98
Cost summary
Description Price
Subtotal $ 26.86
Shipping $ 5.99
Taxes $ 2.62
Total USD $ 35.47

Now, I'll dig out those mods I've never used and see what they are ..

Just a thought about you 'mods I've never used'. If they are older ones they are like to be 22mm mods and most mods and tanks today are 24mm. So if you care about the looks of the tank and mod 'lining' up be careful what you buy as far as size is concerned.

 NO - NO - Do Not throw them out . . . If Ya' not going to clean them send them to "Me" . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Anyway - While there are a number of different ways that people clean these coils: Search Results for Query: Cleaning Coils | E-Cigarette Forum (BTW: Some people even change the "Cotton" in the Z-Coils and/or totally rebuild them - I haven't tried myself so no guarantees ) - I have a couple of different ways to clean the coils:

1) Down and dirty, just a very good rinse Rinse w/ HOT water and then let coil dry completely otherwise the damp cotton will not accept e-liquid as well.

2) Especially if using any "Darker" e-liquids . . . Rinse - then Soak for at least 12 hours (over night) in HOT Water and a drop or 2 of "Dawn" (any dish detergent might work too, just remember less is more). . . Rinse very well or in soak clean water for a couple of hours . . . Or in rare moments rinse/soak a little - Vodka . . . Then Dry completely.

3) AND - Probably the best, especially if you are doing more then one coil at a time . . . Sonic cleaner - just follow the instructions for it's use.

As for taste after cleaning, most of the time no difference for "ME" at all - not even diminished. Remember I use Unflavored NIC . . . The only time I had a problem with "Taste" is when and if I used too much of "Menthol Crystal Liquid" as an additive to the mix besides Koolada. Otherwise all good. Now - since you both are using "Flavored Juice" - YMMV - so I would be more inclined to use a sonic cleaner to make sure all previous "Flavor" is removed.

NOW - Just as an FYI: Even with that said, after cleaning/using a few coils (including Prism T18/T22 coils) I have not "Tossed" them, but am saving them to clean until I get enough to do a mass cleaning with the sonic cleaner (doing 1 -2 -3 at a time in the sonic cleaner is ridiculous) .

BTW: Occasionally, I have had a coil totally fail (DOA) out of the wrapper - instead of tossing that one - cleaned it and it came back to "Life" . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Let "Us" know how Ya' do - will Ya' ?

Thanks for the tip .. but, ya know, if I'm still hittin' a Spinner right now, I'm probably not all that concerned about Visual Etiquette in the Vape World .. :p

Thanks @Uncle re: cleaning the Z-coils. I've got a sonic cleaner, might give that a try. As to ...

(BTW: Some people even change the "Cotton" in the Z-Coils and/or totally rebuild them - I haven't tried myself so no guarantees )

Nope, that's never going to happen. I remember rebuilding the Vivi Nova coils ... just a pain working with small coils in a confined space. If'n I'm going to rebuild, I'm using a dedicated rebuildable tank. Rebuilding drop-ins just makes no sense to me. Now cleaning them, if it works out ... that's a consideration.

Well, well ... and what were they? Are they antiques or just vintage? :D

I ordered 2 more of the Solos from this company yesterday to add to my stash. Yes, I gagged when the shipping and taxes were added but they are well worth the added cost. One thing you will like about them is they are dust-proof, water-resistant, and shock-resistant. They are the perfect mods for use in your workshop.

Yeah, when I ran the shipping calculator, it was $9 clams for one and $15 for two .. that seems outrageous to me .. but, the unit itself seems to be a very good deal .. the company has to be making some profit on the shipping ..

as well .. the cheapest shipping on 2 showed "4PX-US Special Line(No battery or liquid)" .. I don't know what that means .. do batteries and liquid have some sort of surcharge shipping these days .. ??

EDIT :: I nosed around the website, it appears the outfit is somewhere in the Asian area ..

Does this mean no new mod ? You really should, you’d like the hand feel of the Solo.

So what is the pv you found.?

Well, here is a photo of what I dug out last night .. most all bought during what I would call the first Edition Vapocalypse .. I think there have been multiple scares over the years .. I did not take a photo of my Nic Freezer stash .. I've got more, I just have not laid my hands on the rest just yet ..

The gold bling thing was called a Magneto Mech Mod with a bottom button, if memory serves, since mech mods seemed to be touted as some sort of foolproof stash device that would always work .. I've never bought any batteries for any of these things ..

Compare that to what has, essentially not changed dramatically (other than the carto tanks and what not since Randall Fortenberry (txtumbleweed) sent me my first couple of EVODS and I bought into Spinners / Twists) from a photo I posted a long time back in a Thread Far Far Away ::

(and yes, I'm still not ashamed to sport a .... bag, although I have upgraded since this one wore out)

I have a Gripper and I love it for my carto tanks. Not all mechs are to be trusted. I hate to say but you need to bite the bullet and get a fitting mod for the Zlide. You can’t go half way with this project

On a side note, I tend to beat the crap out of stuff I use on a daily basis .. I don't care what it looks like, whether it's tools, cell phone, vape gear, clothing, etc .. In fact, I always have liked the well used look .. .. never been much on keeping everything pristine .. don't understand folks that do .. if you're gonna use it, then use it ..
