Hola ..

Grilled brats / pasta salad / baked beans for dinner yesterday .. had a few neighbors over .. over did the beers and I'm paying for it today .. my deck is shaded, but even at that, it was hot and humid ..

Since as far back as I can remember, I would just use an educated guess to determine if brats were "done" .. started using a meat thermometer last year and discovered I had been slightly overcooking in the past ..

Good morning David and Fran. Our dark clouds passed us by last night and this morning it's warm and muggy out there. Think I'll stay inside, maybe wash the walls in the bathroom. I don't know how it happens, but there's dirty, dried drips on the ceiling and top of the walls. I don't know how they get there, but every once in awhile they return! They're mocking me, but I have super powers and will defeat them because I am woman and I have a step stool and a bucket!

Not to be an alarmist, but I had that issue many years ago .. my two bathrooms are right next to each other and it appeared in both in the same areas as yours, I also cleaned but they came back .. turned out to be mold ..

She said it was on the ceiling and top of the wall. I don't think Mike could "miss" that high. Of course I'm not familiar with Mike and he might be more talented than the average man.

Well -To be honest I wasn't even thinking about that . . . More the very long hot showers / even shaving, with no fan on - nor window open to let the excess mosture disapate . . . However, now that you mention it, Ya' never know especially with some men wanting to just let it go . . .

I think Anise has the right idea, steam buildup. It happens and not much we can do about it except clean it up every now and then. An exhaust fan helps a bit but the buildup over time along with the normal dust that is bantered around with the central heat and air causes the coloring. Life according to Papa Jerry.

Maybe rain dripping down the exhaust fan duct, then the fan "spits" it out?

I'm thinking its condensation from the showers then dust and airborne particles collect on it. There's no fan to fling out dust and its just a small bathroom with no tub, just the shower. And no Anise, I don't think Mike is quite that talented although maybe we should ask him. At any rate they're all gone now - until the next time. I'll be watching...

My house isn’t dirty. The cobwebs are gone.

My garden looks lovely and so does my lawn.

I think I might never put my glasses back on

Sometimes, I click on the products icon at the top of the ECF page .. I don't really know why .. I use the Dark theme and that icon just seems to stick out ..

The thing is, with this so-called Doomsday Vaping scenario up and coming, (I guess it is anyway) .. there seems to be a good number of new products hitting the shelves .. or maybe those are all old products ..

Good afternoon all. Syndee, my daughter who stays with me, is not having a very good day. She is in the midst of a mid-life crisis, today she hit the big 40. We are going out to her favorite Chinese restaurant for dinner. Well, it is mine too because they have the best Sushi bar. I guess it should be called an Asian restaurant and not Chinese.
I checked my FB this afternoon, I do this maybe once a month if I remember. I can not stand all of the hate and division that gets spread there. Anyway, I digress. My oldest granddaughter and her husband had a gender reveal party and they are having a girl! Woo hoo! With two older brothers, I think she will be properly protected as she grows up.
I got a package of parts for the mower this afternoon. When I got the notification that it was being delivered, silly me, I thought it was all of the parts. When I picked up the package from the front porch I could tell it didn't contain all of the parts I had ordered. I checked the email again and there was no mention that it was a partial order. I finally was able to track it all down and 2 more packages are coming from separate vendors.
@Bea-FL, your orchids, as always, are beautiful! I wish I had a green thumb. My neighbor gave two small Aloe Vera plants and I killed them. Forget a garden, I can't even hardly fix a salad. I hope everyone has a good day and stays safe from the weather.
